LOWVILLE, N.Y.  —  Wayne A. Dickinson, 61, of Weaverville, N.C., and formerly of Lowville, died Friday, Sept. 21, at Mission Hospital, in Asheville, N.C.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Born May 20, 1951, in Rochester, a son of the late, Donald W. and Bernice A. Wilder Dickinson, he was a graduate of Lowville Academy and 

Mr. Dickinson was employed at U.S. Security Associates.

He enjoyed reading, animals, his computer and online gaming.

Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Jacquelynne Wagenhoffer Dickinson; a step-daughter, Charlene Reed of Weaverville, NC; a step-son, Douglas Wagenhoffer of Mashpee, Mass.; a brother, Thomas A. Dickinson of Poughkeepsie; a sister, Arlene Snyder Dickinson, Lowville; three step-granddaughters, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; and three brothers, Lawrence E. Dickinson, David W. Dickinson, Theodore M. Dickinson.
