Christine R. Ingalls

LAFARGEVILLE, N.Y.  —  Christine R. Ingalls, 58, of Dog Hill Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. 

Born Dec. 24, 1952, in Watertown, the daughter of Lawrence and Rosalyn Furgison Proven, she graduated in 1971 from LaFargeville High School. 

She married Larry Ingalls on May 29, 1976. 

Mrs. Ingalls was employed with the Stone Mills Agricultural Museum as an accountant and the Theresa Big M for many years. 

She was a life member of the Stone Mills Agricultural Museum and enjoyed flower gardening, ceramics and reading. 

Surviving besides her husband, Larry, are her parents, Lawrence and Rosalyn Proven, Stone Mills; a stepson and his wife, Wade and Kathi Ingalls, LaFargeville; three brothers, Danny and Douglas, LaFargeville, and Kenneth, Stone Mills; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathy Proven, Stone Mills, Rosemary and Brian Forbes, LaFargeville and Laura Simpson and her companion, Joe Eves, Black River; a granddaughter, Renee Zellar, LaFargeville, a grandson, Tylor Ingalls, Carthage; a great-granddaughter, Audrey Zellar, LaFargeville; aunts, uncles, nieces; and nephews. 

A brother, Steven Proven, died before her. 

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, with Pastor David Snyder of Philadelphia United Methodist Church officiating. 

Calling hours are noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
