EVANS MILLS, N.Y. —
Horace A. Davison, 93, of Kiser Road, died Thursday at
Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
Born March 12, 1918, a son of Roy and Lottie Davidson, he
served with the Army during World War II.
Horace married Lenora Stephens.
Mr. and Mrs. Davison owned and operated the Davison Schell
Gas and Grocery store on Route 37, north of Pamelia, for
many years. Mr. Davison drove school bus for the Indian
River School District for many years. Mrs. Davison died
April 20, 2007.
Surviving are a son, James A., Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter,
Janet M. Fraser, Black River; grandchildren, James and
Cheryl Davison, Chittenango, Susan and Chris Daniels,
Pearland, Texas, Tracy Davison and Simo Berrado, Wesley
Chapel, Fla., Jennifer Fraser Durgan, Watertown, Kimberly
and Jeremy Beider, Austell, Ga.; five great-grandchildren; nieces
and nephews and several cousins, to include Virginia
Robinson, St. Petersburg, Fla.; also surviving are many half
brothers and their families in the Theresa and Alex Bay
area.
A brother, Vincent Davidson, and a sister, Hannah Davidson,
both died before him.
Services will be held at a later date.
