WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Annette M. Schwalm, 45, of Holcomb Street, died unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 30, at her home. 

Born Jan. 15, 1966, in Watertown, the daughter of Norman J. and Gloria J. Hall Schwalm, she graduated in 1985 from General Brown High School. 

Ms. Schwalm had worked for Winks Restaurant in Dexter. 

She loved animals especially cats and going to concerts. 

Surviving are her mother, Gloria Hirst, Adams Center; step parents, Harry and Gail Hirst, Copenhagen; a step brother, Steve Hirst, Watertown; a step sister, Kimberly Hirst; a half brother, Patrick Schwalm, Watertown; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

She is predeceased by her father, Norman, a daughter, Angel Schwalm in April 1989, and a brother, David Schwalm in July 2006. 

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday Oct. 7, in Dexter Cemetery with Pastor Gene Hagelin of the Adams Assembly of God officiating. There are no calling hours.
