WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Frederick J. Bodway, 74, a resident at Samaritan Keep Nursing Home and formerly of Hill Top Towers,
passed Thursday, Oct. 6, at Samaritan Medical Center.
A graveside service with military honors will be 10 a.m. Thursday,
Oct. 13, in Glenwood Cemetery. There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
He was born July 16, 1937, in Watertown, son of the late Alfred and Pauline Amell Bodway.
He entered the Navy on March 18, 1959, and was honorably discharged on March 15, 1963.
He married Bernadette Charlebois on Nov. 27, 1965. The marriage later ended in divorce.
Mr. Bodway worked at Mercy of Northern New York for several years as an LPN until he became disabled.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Suzanne C. Taylor, Watertown,
and Aimee L. and Brian Clement, Harrisville; a brother, Edward
Bodway, Pa; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Joan Davidson, Redwood,
Edna Seymour, Watertown, Pauline and Oliver Odette, Calcium; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Albert Bodway, died before him.
Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.
