CALCIUM, N.Y.  —  Edmund T. Caplicki, 55, of Calcium, passed Wednesday, Oct. 12, at his home where he was under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County and his loving family.

Born Feb. 9, 1956, in Watertown, a son of Edmund and Elizabeth T. Champion Caplicki, he attended Indian River High School.

Mr. Caplicki was employed at Space Age Pools in Watertown since the age of fifteen, up till a recent long period of illness which lead to his retirement.

In his spare time, he enjoyed building things such as shelves and birdhouses. 

He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to cook.

Among his survivors are his mother, Elizabeth T. Caplicki, Calcium; two sons, Edmund Tyler and Devin Terrance; a daughter, Sara Ann, all of Texas; a younger brother and his wife, Richard J. and Tracie S. Caplicki, Calcium; three nieces, a nephew and two great nieces.

His father died before him in May 2009.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service per his request. 

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.
