FOWLERSVILLE, N.Y.  —  Helen Gallup, 72, of Catholic Charities of Oneida and Madison Counties, died Monday, Oct. 15, at Crouse Hospital, Syracse. Helen has resided in Rome for the last three years.

Born Jan. 13, 1940, in Lyonsdale, the daughter of the late Cyrus Frank and Ethel Treen Gallup, she lived in Fowlersville with her family and attended rural school.

A committal service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in Wildwood Cemetery, Lyons Falls, with Rev. Christopher Carrara, pastor of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, officiating.

She is survived by her cousin, Jean Call, and her husband, Mike.

Two brothers, Cyrus and Frank Jr. Gallup, both died before her.
