ADAMS, N.Y.  —  Gage A. Griffin, 16, of County Route 77, Adams and a student at Belleville Henderson Central School died in the Samaritan Medical Center Sunday morning. 

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, Rev. Walter Giles, interim pastor of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Adams, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm.

Gage is survived by his father and stepmother, Michael E. and Jidapha Griffin, Adams; his paternal grandfather and paternal step grandmother, Jess and Pavarisa Griffin, Adams; three uncles and two aunts, Chad (and Rhonda) Dudley, Mannsville; Paul (and Michelle) Griffin, Charlotte, N.C., and Patrick Griffin, Watertown; two aunts, Christine (and Shawn) Ainsworth, Dexter; Melanie (and William) Pape, Port Washington, Wics.; and several cousins.

Gage was born Aug. 17, 1995, in Watertown, son of Michael E. and Stephanie L Dudley Griffin. His mother died March 21, 1998. 

His favorite hobby was listening to music.
