WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Gloria L. Connell, 63, of 318 William St., passed Monday, Oct. 24, at Samaritan Medical Center.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

There will be no funeral or burial at this time.

Born June 10, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Joseph and Anna Rossi Dennis she graduated from high school in Brooklyn.

She married Thomas M. Connell of Brooklyn on April 3, 1965. 

The couple moved to California and resided throughout the US during which time she held various secretarial positions. She moved to Watertown in 2001 and was a comptroller at the Iron Block Harley-Davidson in Adams Center up until she retired.

Mrs. Connell was a former member of the Red Hat Society.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Among her survivors are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert D. and Kelly E. Connell, Watertown, Patrick T. and Meredith A. Connell, Watertown, and Daniel T. Connell and his companion, Emily A. Bachmann, Redwood; a brother and his wife, Patrick and Diane Dennis, Long Island; two sisters and their husbands, JoAnne and Larry Genovese, Staten Island, and Nancy and Artie Walker, Jamesburg, N.J.; eight grandchildren, Thomas, Joseph, Gabriel, Riley, Allison, Hayden, Devin, and Shawn; several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Thomas Connell, passed in1979, and a son, Joseph Connell, passed in 1994.
