Herbert M. Rhone

LOWVILLE, N.Y.  —  Herbert M. Rhone, 52, of Spring Lake, North Carolina, and formerly of Lowville, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, in North Carolina.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Martinsburg Cemetery with David Tuttle, uncle, officiating. There will be no calling hours.

Born
December 28, 1958, in Watertown, a son of Herbert M. Rhone and the late Anne Salisbury Rhone, he graduated in 1978 from South Lewis Central School.  

He worked on the Eugene Marks farm in Lowville and also worked construction in Lowville, before moving to North Carolina in 1996.  

He was a fork lift operator for various construction companies in North Carolina for many years.

He is survived by his companion, Janis Hadlow, two step-daughters, Heather Davis of Croghan and Kristen and Jason McCullough of Spring Lake, NC; his father, Herbert M. Rhone of Lowville; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dale Buckingham of Lowville; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and LuAnn Rhone of Lowville; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Tabolt of Lowville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by his mother, Anne M. Rhone; a sister, Sandra A. Tabolt; and two great-nieces, Ryann Anne and Peyten Marie West.
