CASTORLAND, N.Y.  —  Merry J. Dicob, 54, of Second Road, died Thursday afternoon, Nov. 1, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville, with Rev. James Vacco O.F.M. officiating. 

Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home.

Born Oct. 13, 1958, in Carthage, a daughter of John and Avis Walseman Honer, she graduated from Beaver River Central School. 

She worked for Beaverite Products in Croghan for five years. 

She married Anthony D. Dicob on Feb. 20, 1983, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. 

Mrs. Dicob raised her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed gardening and baking.

Surviving are her husband, Tony; four sons, Amos Dicob and wife, Erin, Hopewell Junction, Jacob Dicob and wife, Angela, Millbrook, Shane and Lucas Dicob, Castorland; two grandchildren, Emma and Aiden, and one on the way; her parents, John and Avis Honer of Castorland; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Foster and Donna Honer, Castorland, and Greg Honer, Castorland; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Becky and Don Clemons of Beaver Falls, Heidi Honer, Holly Honer-Zehr and husband, Danny Zehr, Betsy and Mandi Honer, all of Castorland; her mother-in-law, Gertrude Dicob of Castorland; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
