Robin J. Scott

ALEXANDRIA BAY, N.Y.  —  Robin J. Scott, 50, of 134 Northern Ave., passed away Sunday evening, Nov. 6, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Nov. 3.

Born July 29, 1961, in Denver, Colo., the son of Charles and Thelma Smith Scott, he graduated from Alexandria Central School.  

He married Laurie Bain on June 2, 1983 in Canyon City, Colo.

Robin worked for Uncle Sam Boat Tours in Alexandria Bay, in the maintenance department.  

He was a former coach for the Alexandria Bay Minor Hockey Association, a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Alexandria Bay, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his parents, Thelma and Charles; his wife, Laurie; his children, Gregory J, Christopher R, and Ashley L, all of Alexandria Bay; a grandson, Preston Robin Scott; five siblings, Mrs. Tony (Brenda K.) Cullen, Redwood, Mrs. “Bud” (Martha) Thomas, Alexandria Bay, Charlie Scott, Alexandria Bay, Mrs. David (Diedre) Bendle, Redwood, and Mrs. Mark (Charlotte) LaShombe, Clayton. 

Calling hours will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Costello Funeral Home. A memorial gathering will take place starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the home of Chris Bain, Farrell Rd, Redwood.
