REDWOOD, N.Y.  —   Henrietta E. Geisendoerfor, 99, of Redwood, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where she had been admitted Nov. 10.

Born Aug. 11, 1913, in Natural Dam, a daughter of Carl and Anna Humphreys Geisendoerfor, she graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1931, and St. Lukes School of Nursing in New York City in 1933. 

She became a registered nurse, working for several different hospitals, including the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City where she served as a nurse anesthetist.

She loved to travel, and worked as a registered nurse for a time in Hawaii.

Henrietta is survived by a sister, Marguerite Dingman, with whom she resided.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Gouverneur Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Redwood Rescue Squad.
