David Lee Juby, 66, died
Friday, Nov. 23, at the home of his brother and
sister-in-law, Leonard and Paula Juby in Castorland.
A gathering will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, in the
lower level of the Lewis County Memorial Post #6912,
Lowville VFW, West State Street, Lowville.
Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
Born Aug. 31, 1946, in Boonville, a son of the late Leonard
L. Juby and the late Marie Turner Juby French, he graduated
from Lowville Academy.
After high school, he was married and moved to Rochester,
where he drove truck for A.R. Gundry for many years. As he
was nearing retirement, he went back into farming.
He was a longtime member of the Sons of the American Legion;
also a member of BPOE #2110, Brockport Lodge; member of
Brockport VFW and a life member of the Brockport Fire
Department.
David is survived by three children and their spouses,
Catherine M. and Dwight Winkley, Moreland, Ga., Lee D. and
Samantha Juby, Brockport, and James E. and Lisa Juby,
Brockport; five brothers and their wives, Alan and Kathy
Juby of West Henrietta, Leonard and Paula Juby of Castorland,
William Juby of Cazenovia, Thomas and Elizabeth Juby of
Castorland, Ronald and Tammy Juby of Lowville; two sisters,
Faye Schneider, Castorland, and Barbara Hoch, Croghan; 10
grandchildren; an aunt, Nancy Nash, Lake Panasoffkee, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A sister, Helen E. Ielfield, and a brother, Charles Juby,
both died before him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of
David to the Brockport Fire Department, 38 Market Street,
Brockport, NY 14420.
