Terry L. Cean

DEXTER, N.Y.  —  Terry L. Cean, 67, of Evans Road, died Sunday afternoon, Dec. 2, in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

Born Nov. 16, 1945, in Watertown, the son of Niles and Evelyn Desmore Cean, he graduated from high school in Florida.

He married Linda J. Ellison on Aug. 8, 1963, in Georgia.

Terry was a self-employed contractor who owned and operated Tri-County Builders.

He was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are his wife, Linda; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy L. and Mike Reiss, Rochester, and Marsha Cean, Dexter; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; two sisters, Charlotte Wellborn and Mary Huot, both of Hooksett, N.H.; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter, with Rev. Patricia Walz of Dexter United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
