Daniel Fay, 82, of
Railroad Street, died Sunday evening, Dec. 2, at the Lewis
County Residential Healthcare Facility where he has resided
since July.
Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Iseneker
Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
Daniel was born on March
31, 1930, in Ilion, N.Y., a son of the late Fredrick and
Bertha Ferguson Fay.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1953, moving to
Lowville in the 1980s. He worked in tree service for many
years, and most recently, he was a driver for the office of
the aging.
He
enjoyed woodchuck and deer hunting, playing golf and
photography.
He
was a past member of the VFW in Lowville.
Surviving are his companion of over 32 years, Sharon Bacon,
Lowville; two sons; four sisters, Betty Hansen, Marion
Schmock, JoAnn Rowe and Ruth; his companions children, Karen
Bacon and her husband, Mark of Kentucky; Bonnie Bacon and
her companion, Mark Pelo of New Bremen; Cindy and Brian Hoch
of Glenfield; nine grandchildren, and five
great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A sister, Ellen Tatom, died before him.
