Charlotte
Sampson Jackson, 80, of Watertown, died Dec. 3, at Samaritan
Keep Home.
Born Sept. 29, 1932, in Antwerp, the daughter of Daniel and
Lila Vancor Sampson, she attended school in Antwerp.
She married William Jackson on Feb. 19, 1950, in Antwerp.
Mr. Jackson died Oct. 1, 1993.
Mrs. Jackson was an assembly worker at Chesborough Ponds for
nine years and was a CNA for Share-A-Home, Keyes Avenue,
Watertown for several years, retiring in 1993.
She enjoyed dancing, bingo and snowmobiling.
She was a member of the Philadelphia American Legion Ladies
Auxillary Post #798.
Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law,
Caroline and Clifton Farrell, Evans Mills, Linda Jackson,
Watertown, Christine Jackson, Browns Mills, N.J., and
Cathlene and Robert Watson, Philadelphia; two sons and a
daughter-in-law, William and Angelique Jackson,Tucson, Ariz.,
and Wyatt Jackson, Philadelphia; her dearest friend, Art
Cole, Boonville; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren;
and three sisters, Clara Slate, Adams Center, Mabel
Churchill, Burrville, and Gloria Dobson, Theresa.
Her parents, seven brothers, William, Warner, Charles,
Frank, Donald, Edward and Samuel Sampson, two sisters,
Dorothy Ferris and Lyla “Dolly” Shampine, and a
grandson, Clifton Farrell II, all died before her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to organizations
for the kindness to people or animals in need.
There will be no funeral or calling hours. A spring burial
will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Theresa.
