— Danny R. Baker, 50, of 6222 Baker Road, died Thursday evening at
home where he had been under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, with Rev. Mary Drake, pastor of the Mannsville and Lorraine United Methodist churches, officiating. There will be
a calling hour 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, preceding the funeral service. Spring burial will be in Union Cemetery, Adams Center.
Born Nov. 12, 1958, in Syracuse, son of Robert King and Evelyn Rogers Baker, he attended South Jefferson Central School.
Following school he worked construction, most recently for Whiting Construction, Adams Center, until he retired due to disability.
He was raised by his uncle, Francis Ryan, LaFargeville from the age of eight.
Surviving besides an uncle and his wife, Mabel, are a half brother and his wife, David and Gail King,
Fla.; seven cousins, Toby and Cheryl Ryan, Adams, Francis and Patricia Ryan,
Adams, Neil Ryan, Watertown, James and Joan Ryan, Adams
Center, Larry and Robin Ryan, Syracuse, Rena Gebo and her companion Kelly Earl,
Watertown, and Nancy Stuckey and her companion Randy Beirman, Great Bend; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and a brother, Charles Baker, died before him.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially AC/DC music.
