Marjorie E. Daly, 83, of E. Division Street,
passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 5, at Samaritan Medical
Center where she had been a patient for a short time.
The funeral service will
be 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Reed & Benoit Funeral
Home, Inc., with Father Richard Kennedy officiating. Calling
hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will
be held at the convenience of the family.
Born Oct. 23, 1929, a daughter of Carl and Marjorie Cummings
Nellis, she was educated locally.
She married James E. Daly on Sept. 22, 1947, at Our Lady of
the Sacred Heart Church, Watertown. Mr. Daly passed on Dec.
13, 2010.
Marjorie enjoyed bowling, gardening, traveling and
golf.
Mr. and Mrs. Daly were avid Watertown Wizards baseball fans
and attended all home games as well as many away games. They
also attended many New York Yankee baseball games in New
York and Toronto.
Among her survivors are a daughter and her companion, Peggy
Farmer and Hoyt Reff, Watertown; a sister-in-law, Freda
Nellis, Canada; a brother-in-law, Robert Holland, Watertown;
two grandchildren: Andrew Farmer, Watertown, Matthew Daly,
Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Carl
Nellis, a sister, Mary Holland, a son, Michael Daly, and a
son-in-law, Paul Farmer.

Society, or to a charity of one's own choosing.
