Louise Lydon, 93, of Route 37, passed away Thursday morning,
Dec. 6, at her home.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday. Dec. 10,
at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. John
Yonkovig, pastor of St. Agnes Church, Lake Placid, and Rev.
Richard Kennedy co-officiating. There will be no calling

Born Jan.17, 1919, in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of William J.
and Florence H. Madden Teubner, she graduated from
Villa-Julienne High School, Dayton.
She married Robert J. "Bob" Lydon on July 18, 1942,
at St. Mary's Church, Alexandria, Va.
She had worked for a short time as a clerk and stenographer
for the Corp of Engineers in Washington DC and for the
American Red Cross Disaster Services, Alexandria, Va.
Mary Lou was a homemaker and a volunteer at Mercy
She had attended Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, a
former member of its Altar & Rosary Society, and a
former director of religious education.
Besides her husband, Bob, she is survived by six children
and their spouses, John R. and Betsy Lydon, Syracuse,
Patrick D. and Ann Lydon, Webster, Christine and Paul
Zoltowski, Spencer, Terrance J. and Leone Lydon, Northport,
Fla., Bonnie and Michael Yonkovig, Henderson Harbor, and
Matthew J. and Constance "Connie" Lydon, Hamburg;
and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Donations in her name may be made to either Our Lady of the
Sacred Heart Church, 320 W. Lynde St. or Hospice of
Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., both in Watertown, NY
