Ruth B. Stewart

COPENHAGEN, N.Y.  —  Ruth Brady Stewart, 90, formerly of Copenhagen, died Wednesday evening, Dec. 7, at Tidelands Community Hospice in Georgetown, S.C.  

Born Nov. 21, 1921, in the town of Denmark, the daughter of Jesse and Irene Brady, Lowville, she formerly resided in Cheverly, Md., and Surfside Beach, S.C. 

Surviving are seven children, Rosita Remson and husband, Bob, Surfside Beach, S.C, Nancy Sweeney and husband, Jerry, Surfside Beach, S.C., Joseph Hill II, David Hill, Ruth Choi, Darnestown, Md., John Hill and wife, Kimmie, Laurel, Md., and Mary Bryd, Beltsville, Md.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Bernard and Ruth Brady, Copenhagen, and Patrick and Donna Brady, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marie and Neil Koch, Menomonie, Wisc., and Jeanette Brady, Alexandria, Va.

Two husbands Joseph Hill and George Stewart, two sisters, Gertrude Ryan and Verna Smith and three brothers, Donald, Robert, and Richard Brady, all died before her. 

A funeral service will be held noon Monday, Dec. 12, at Iseneker Funeral Home, Lowville. A calling hour will be 11 a.m. to noon Monday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in West Lowville Rural Cemetery.
