FELTS MILLS, N.Y.  —  Robert A. Ogiba, 71, of Cemetery Road, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 8, at his home

A funeral service will be held at Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 284 Main St., New York Mills on Saturday, December 15, at 11AM. 

Future burial will take place in St. George Cemetery, New York Mills.

Mr. Ogiba was born Aug. 12, 1941, in Utica, a son of Joseph F. and Veronica Picornis Ogiba. 

He had worked locally for a business for twelve years. 

He was a member of St. James Church, Carthage, and was an avid Republican. 

Mr. Ogiba was very proud of all his children and their accomplishments and loved them all equally and dearly.

Surviving are his mother, Veronica; 12 children, Maria "Morrie" Ogiba, who died at age two, Christopher Ogiba, Shawn Ogiba, Shannon "Bannon" Johnson, Julia "Dooley" Mahon, Teresa "Bear" Foster, John Paul Ogiba, Charles "The Duck" Ogiba, Elizabeth Ogiba, Kathryn Ogiba, and the twins, William "Willy, the Lump" and Thomas Ogiba; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Ogiba; a sister, Judy Mohr; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His father predeceased him.
