DEXTER, N.Y.
— Glenn R. Hall, 85, of W. Grove Street,
passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, at Samaritan Medical Center,
Watertown.
Born Feb. 23, 1926, in the town of Champion, the son of
Charles and Grace Moore Hall, he served in the Army from
1950 to 1952.
Mr. Hall worked as a truck driver at Fort Drum and had also
worked at St. Regis Paper.
He married Beverly Premo on Jan. 13, 1973, at the Brownville
United Methodist Church.
Surviving besides his wife, Beverly are two sons, Wayne and
Julie Hall, Watertown, and Gary Hall, Kansas; three
daughters, Cindy and Mark Schermerhorn, Harrisville, Robin
and Donald Gillette, Fla., and Kelly Hall and her companion
Michelle, Ft. Drum; a sister, Mildred Williams, Black River;
13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
Four brothers, Lawrence, Charles, Francis, Raymond, and
three sisters, Irene Wilton, Elizabeth Bailey and Ethel Boni,
all died before him.
The memorial service will be held noon Saturday, Jan. 7, at
Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Rev. Patricia Waltz,
pastor of the Dexter / Brownville United Methodist Church,
officiating. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 11
a.m. to noon. Burial will be in the spring in Brownville
Cemetery.
