— Constance
A. Mason, 73, Brownville, died Monday, Dec. 19, after a
valiant battle with cancer at Samaritan Keep Home where she
had resided for one week.
Born May 17, 1938, the daughter of the late Gerald
"Dutch" and Catherine "Kitty" Reardon
Hoffman, she grew up in Watertown and a graduate of
Watertown High School.
She briefly attended the House of Good Samaritan Nursing
School, worked at the National Bank, was an accounting
technician at Fort Drum's Finance and Accounting department,
and later worked at the Salmon Run Mall.
For many
years Connie was active in yoga and attended several
retreats throughout her life.
She enjoyed music, reading, the Arts, traveling and caring
for her many pet cats.
Connie will long be remembered as being a very determined
person and a sincere friend.
Surviving are an uncle, Charles Reardon and many devoted
friends.
A marriage to Thomas Mason, Sackets Harbor, ended in
divorce.
Arrangements
are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
In accordance to her wishes, there will be no funeral or
calling hours. Burial will be in the spring in
Glenwood Cemetery, Watertown.
