WATERTOWN, N.Y.
— Wilda M. Froysell, 91, of LeRay Street,
passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 20, at her home.
She was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Watertown, the daughter of
Gordon and Louise Sholett Heaslip.
She was employed by Charles Hyde and was the office manager
at Dexelectrics in Watertown retiring in 1983.
She married Leonard Froysell on June 28, 1948, in
Pennsylvania. Mr. Froysell passed away in 1984 after 35
years of marriage.
Mrs. Froysell was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church.
She was an avid bowler, swimmer and loved playing cards with
her family and friends.
Her happiest times were when family was together for
holidays and weekend gatherings.
She will be known for her silly songs with all her
grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Karen and Andy
Cross, Camillus; a son and hiw wife, Kerry and Chris
Froysell, Watertown; six grandchildren, James VanDusen,
Liverpool, Eric VanDusen, Clay, Kelly Froysell, Adams
Center, Christy Clark, Wics., Lori Foote, Adams, and Shawna
Phipps, Liverpool; 17 great-grandchildren, Rachel,
Christina, Andrea, Benjamin, Rebecca and Elisha VanDusen,
Theresa Vito, Zachary and Zoshua Phipps ,Kaley Froysell,
Storm and Macey Castor, Blake, Colbie, Ophelia and Axel
Foote and Michael Froysell.
Fifteen siblings died before her
The funeral service will
be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Reed & Benoit
Funeral Home with Ordained Elder Mike Miller officiating.
Burial in Brookside Cemetery will be private.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7
p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
