Nicholas W. Leepy

ADAMS, N.Y.  —  Nicholas W. Leepy, 82, formerly of Adams, and a resident of the Samaritan Keep Home since 1985, died Thursday, Dec. 22, in the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he had been admitted Wednesday. 

Mr. Leepy will be cremated and the funeral will be 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, pastor, Mona Fargo of the Adams and Sulphur Springs United Methodist Churches officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, in the Rural Cemetery, Adams. A calling hour will be held 7 to 8 p.m. preceding the funeral. 

Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.

Born Nov. 28, 1929. in Worth, a son of Nicholas and Eleanor Shelmidine Leepy, he attended Stears Corners school in Worth. 

For a few years he lived with his sister and brother in law Myrtle and Emora Roberts in Adams and later had an apartment on Winslow Street in Watertown. 

He was a former employee of the Jefferson Rehabilitation Center working both at Production Unlimited and on Gaffney Drive.

In addition to his sister, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Hollis Leepy, and a sister, Jennie O’Connor.
