Bruce J. Paul

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —   Bruce J. Paul, 46, of 310 Williams St., passed Thursday, Dec. 20, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Bruce Funeral Home, Black River.

Born Aug. 20, 1966, in Watertown, a son of Michael J. and Mary Hubbard Paul Sr., he attended Carthage Central High.

He married Calley L. Windover of Watertown on Nov. 11, 2004, in Rutland Hollow.

Mr. Paul worked for Davis Tree service as a heavy equipment operator and over ten years for the Town of Rutland Highway Department as a snowplow operator.

He was a volunteer firefighter with the Town of Rutland Fire Department, a member of the RIT Team and an EMT. 

He was an avid fisherman, hunter and sportsman.

Among his survivors are his wife, Calley L. Paul; two brothers, Stewart R. Paul, Michael J. Paul Jr.; three sisters and two brothers in law, Eileen M. and Jonathan D. Nelton, Sharon M. and Floyd W. Roberts III, Dawn M. Paul, all of Watertown; several nieces, nephews; and his loving cat “Buddy”.
