— Donald
J. Seymour, 76, of Depauville, died Saturday morning, Dec.
22, at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown, where he had been a
resident for two years.
As per his wishes, there will be no services.
Born Sept. 25, 1936, in Clayton, the son of Joseph Leo and
Angnes Hines Seymour, he attended schools in Clayton and
LaFargeville.
He married Norma Stevens on Jan. 13, 1957, in Syracuse.
Don worked for the Town of Clayton for a time and retired
from Watertown Redevelopment.
He was also a private contractor.
Mr. Seymour was a former member of the Depauville Fire
Department.
Don enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and making jewelry.
Surviving besides his wife Norma is one son, Randy; two
daughters, Lisa of Rodman and Deborah (Vernon) Thompson of
LaFargeville; three sisters, Betty (Fred) Angus of Stone
Mills, Doreen Nier of LaFargeville and Beverly Weiss of
Florida; five brothers, Manfred (Phyllis) of North Carolina,
Vernal of Theresa, Robert (Sherry) of Ohio, Frank of Calcium
and John (Fran) of Great Bend; eight grandchildren; nieces
and nephews.
A son, Dale, passed away in 1978. A brother, Bill, and a
sister, Valorie Fitzgerald, also died before him.
