Anna B. Couch

Anna Belle Graham Couch, 102, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, at home with her son, Arthur, and his wife, Jeri, in Indiana, where she resided. 

Born July 7, 1910, Grindstone Island, Clayton, she was the youngest daughter of William and Alzina Slate Graham. Anna lived most of her life on Grindstone with a few years spent in Syracuse and Rochester.

In 1934 she was married to Sperry W. Couch, of Rochester, and they had five children. 

Surviving are William and wife, Carolyn, of Norfolk, Virginia, Norma Frazier, Plessis, New York, Arthur and wife, Jerilyn, Pendleton, Indiana and Grindstone Island, Linda Williams and husband, John, of Warrenton, Oregon, and Alice Jolley and husband, James, of Fort Worth, Texas; several grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Sperry, two brothers, Claude and Frank Graham, and three sisters, Belva Graham Lember, Beulah Raymond, and Bertha Arnold.

Burial will be in Grindstone Island Cemetery in the spring at a time and date to be determined. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton.
