LOWVILLE, N.Y. —
Joseph F. Campany, 70, of
Lowville, died Monday morning, Dec. 26, at the Lewis County
Residential Healthcare Facility where he has resided since
October.
Born May 6, 1941, in
Lowville, a son of the late James Campany and Martha
Bockenheim Campany, he graduated from Beaver River
High School and Canton ATC.
Surviving are three
daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Mike Herzog,
Mattydale, Donna and Kevin Helms, Marshville, N.C., Tammi
and Carmen Carr, Syracuse; his mother, Martha Campany,
Lowville; two brothers and their wives, Rodney and Carolyn
Campany, Concord, N.C., and Lynn and Gail Campany, Lake
Bonaparte; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Eleanor
and Bernard Bush, Croghan, Karen and Gary Wrayno, Cary, N,C,
and Linda Campany, Greensboro, N.C., a brother-in-law, John
Powers, Watertown; five grandchildren, several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
A sister, Dorris Powers, died before him.
A funeral service will be
held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at Iseneker Funeral Home,
Inc., Lowville, with Rev. Daniel L. Chapin, pastor of St.
Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan, officiating. Burial
will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Croghan.
A calling hour will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral
service at the funeral home.
