THREE MILE BAY, N.Y.
— Mary A. Callahan Maigret, 91, formerly of Three Mile Bay and Watertown, died Saturday,
Dec. 24, at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown, where she had been a resident since November
2008.
There will be no calling hours or funeral.
Burial in Three Mile Bay Cemetery will be
held at a later date.
Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home Inc. in Clayton.
Mary was born July 11, 1920, the daughter of George and Ethel Reidy Bates Sr.
She married Robert Callahan who died in 1980. She then married Robert Maigret who also predeceased her.
She was employed at various businesses including being an accountant at Thousand Island Country Club on Wellesley Island for over twenty years.
Enjoying golf, she was a member of the Watertown Golf Club for many years, and bowled at Seaway Bowl for many years.
Surviving are three sons, Michael [Cindy] Callahan Three Mile Bay, Timothy [Kate] Callahan, South Carolina, Richard Farr,
New Jersey; four daughters Mrs. David [Penny] Adams of Baldwinsville, Mrs. Jerry [Colleen] Heitzman,
Texas, Patricia Callahan and her husband, Julio Gomez, Watertown,
and Mrs. Richard [Bridget] Allen, South Carolina; a stepson, Richard
[Molly] Maigret of Lockport, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard {Katherine] Crabb of New
Hampshire; fourteen grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A brother, George, and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Hedrick and Madelene
Constance, all died before her.
