CLAYTON, N.Y.  —  Irma L. Paige, 80, formerly of Clayton and widow of Carl Paige, died Friday morning at Stonehedge Nursing Home in Rome, N.Y.

The funeral will be Saturday “today” at 3:00 pm at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton. Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring. 

Born Aug. 24, 1929, in Clayton, the daughter of Howard and Hazel Goulet Joles, she graduated from Clayton High School.

She married Carl Paige on Aug. 26,1948, at St. Mary’s Church in Clayton, with Father George E. Racette Pastor officiating. Mr. Paige died Dec. 29, 2004, at age 79. 

Surviving are two sons and their wives, David and Cathy, Charlotte, N.C., and Daniel and Cathy, Shelby, N.C.; a daughter and her husband, Darlene and Norris Whitmore, Ava, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson, Thomas. 

Besides her husband, Carl she is predeceased by two sisters, Eleanor Mellon and Gloria Baker.  

Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.
