Pair arrested after drug raid in Felts Mills, police say

FELTS MILLS, NY — Members of the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at about 6:25 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at 24015 Cemetery Road in the town of Rutland.

This address has been the focus of an on-going drug investigation, police said.

When entry was made into the residence, it was found to be occupied by Amber R. Pitcher, Jarvis K. Hines, and an infant child, police said.

The occupants and scene were secured without incident.

At the conclusion of the search warrant 117.7 grams of cocaine, cutting agents, digital scales, packaging supplies, and drug paraphernalia was seized, police said.

As a result, Amber R. Pitcher, 32, and Jarvis K. Hines, 35, were each charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A-II felony.

Ms. Pitcher and Mr. Jarvis were arraigned before Watertown City Judge Eugene R. Renzi and were sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building to be held without bail.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol, SERT and K-9 Units, and the Watertown Police SRT and ID units assisted the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force.

This is an ongoing investigation, police said.
