WATERTOWN, NY – Patricia A. Nuffer, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019. She resided at Samaritan Keep Home for the last few years, where she was well cared for by the loving staff.
Pat was born May 22, 1948 to Joseph and Lillian (Palmerton) Zollo.
She married Donald Nuffer on Sept. 15, 1967, in Phoenix, NY, and the couple resided in Adams, NY for most of their married life.
She had several jobs in her life including bartending and homemaking, but her favorite was caring for and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved playing cards and going to bingo. Pat and her sister Linda were regulars to playing pitch and Friday night bingo. She was well known for her fun and caring attitude and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband Donald D. Nuffer of Watertown; brother, Mark (Sandy) Zollo, Charlotte NC; son, Charles (Joy) Nuffer, Rodman, NY; two daughters, Tammy Taylor (fiancé Mark Stroisch) Eagle River, Alaska; Ann Clement, Adams, NY; seven grandchildren, Michelle McNeely, Kyle Taylor, Travis Nuffer, Joshua Nuffer, Benjamin Nuffer, Brandon Clement, and Brooke Clement; and two great grandchildren, Riley McNeely and Orin McNeely.
She was predeceased by her sister, Linda Larkin who passed away on March 17, 2018.
There will be a celebration of Pat’s life at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at Life Church of the Nazarene, 535 Thompson Blvd, Watertown, NY 13601, with the Reverend Robert Tharp presiding. There will be a luncheon at the church to immediately follow the service. All are welcome.
