5-Year-Old Boy Hurt After Falling Out of Dodge Durango He Was Operating

WATERTOWN, N.Y. —  A 5-year-old boy put a Dodge Durango into reverse causing it to roll out of his driveway across the 600 block of Burchard Street where he fell out, was struck by the driver's side door and had his foot run over by a tire at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Watertown police. 

The boy was taken by Guilfoyle Ambulance to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Witnesses at the scene said the boy left his apartment with the keys to the vehicle while his father was in the shower. City police are continuing to investigate. .
