Passenger Charged with Disorderly Conduct
WATERTOWN

A bus passenger who became disorderly and refused a driver's orders to
exit the bus was charged Monday morning by Watertown police with disorderly
conduct.
Antoine A. Clark, 21, of Elmont, N.Y., was arrested at 8:55 a.m. after he
allegedly shouted obscenities while being escorted by police off of a Trailways
bus parked at the bus station, 540 State St., according to documents.
He was arraigned in City Court before City Judge James C. Harberson and
released.

Woman Kicked Man in Groin

A North Carolina woman was arrested on Jan. 27 for allegedly kicking a
man in the groin during a Jan. 20 domestic dispute at a Maple Street residence
in the Harrisville, according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Department.
Jamie L. Tidaback, 30, Cary, N.C., was charged with second-degree harassment
and summoned to appear in Diana Town Court at a later date.

Man Stole Truck from Bar Parking Lot

Waylon J. Selph, 28, of 10512 S. Riva Ridge Loop, Fort Drum, was
charged at about 2:58 a.m. Saturday with third-degree grand larceny, according
to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies said April E. Hasken, 22, Fort Drum, had left the keys to her 1999
Dodge Ram pickup truck in a jacket at the Ugly Stick Saloon, Route 283. As she
was leaving the tavern with a friend, she could not locate her keys. Moments
later, she observed someone driving her vehicle out of the parking lot,
deputies said. Her friend contacted 911 and the vehicle operated by Mr. Selph
was later located at 27790 Route 342 in the town of LeRay. He was arraigned
before LeRay Town Justice George E. Meade III and sent to the Metro-Jefferson
Public Safety Building under $500 bail.
His passenger, Jason M. Vann, 29, of 10512 S. Riva Ridge Loop, Fort Drum, was
cited with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle ticket. He is
summoned to appear in LeRay Town Court on Feb. 18.
Four
People Charged in Ruckus at Carriage House

Watertown police arrested four people early Sunday morning after a
disturbance at the Best Western Carriage House Inn, 300 Washington St.
Kyele J. Williams, 21, of 320 Buckley Rd., Liverpool, was charged at 12:41 a.m.
with disorderly conduct after she allegedly pushed past officers to engage in a
fight with others after being ordered by police to stay back, according to
documents.
Robert L. Bennett, 48, Pennellville, was charged with disorderly conduct for
fighting with several patrons, police said.
Jordan R. Bennett, 22, Pennellville, was charged with disorderly conduct after
he attempted to prevent Robert L. Bennett from being arrestes, police said.
Tyler G. Rand, 23, Ottawa, was charged with disorderly conduct after police
allegedly observed him yelling and holding another person against a wall. He
was released from custody after posting $100 bail.
All four are summoned to appear in City Court on Feb. 20.

Say Alex Bay Man Issued 3 Bad Checks

Shawn M. Laning, 30, of 27 James St., Apt. 2, Alexandria Bay, was
charged Saturday afternoon with petit larceny, Jefferson County sheriff's
deputies said.
He allegedly wrote three checks totaling $413.45 to LaFargeville Market, 36111
Route 180, on a closed accounts. He is to answer the charges in Orleans Town
Court on Feb 12.

Charged with Having Pot, Weapon at Drum Gate

A Carthage man was found possessing marijuana and a dagger in a truck
Saturday after a search was conducted at the Gas Alley gate on Fort Drum,
according to state police.
Douglas E. Schneider, 40, of 128 Church St., upper apartment, was charged with
criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is
summoned to appear in LeRay Town Court on Feb. 18.

Facing Charges After Vehicle Stop

Dustin L. Jeffries, 17, of 42219 Arcadia Park Rd., Fishers Landing,
was charged Saturday night with unlawful possession of marijuana, underage
possession of alcohol and no headlight on passenger side, according to state
police.
Troopers found a 1.75-liter bottle of rum in the rear seat of the vehicle he
was operating after detecting a faint odor of burnt marijuana. A glass pipe
with marijuana residue was located secreted in the center console, they said.
He is to appear in Clayton Village Court on Feb. 18.

Drum Man Facing Disorderly Conduct Charge

David S. Hailey, 27, of 10508 5th Armored Division Dr., Fort Drum, was
charged by Watertown police at 2:36 a.m. Saturday with disorderly conduct.
Is is alleged he refused to leave Denny's Restaurant, 1142 Arsenal St., after
being ordered by police, according to documents.
He was released to military custody and summoned to appear in City Court on
Feb. 15.

Man Accused in Theft at Sears

Anthony J. Holmes, 28, of 1620 Huntington St., Apt. L8, was arrested
by state police Friday afternoon and cited with petit larceny.
He is accused of stealing a v-neck fleece and a pair of shoes with a total
value of $64.63 from Sears, Salmon Run Mall.
He is summoned to appear in town of Watertown Court on Feb. 7.

Woman Stabbed Philadelphia Woman

Amber M. Come, 19, of 245 N. Rutland St., upper apartment, was charged
Friday evening by Watertown police with second-degree assault, second-degree
menacing, and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a
weapon.
Police said she stabbed Terri Lyn Custer, 28, Philadelphia, in her right leg
with a knife at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at 305 Gotham St.
She is also accused of threatening Michael H. Lalone, 21, S. Massey St., police
said. She allegedly held the knife up to his face and swung the it at him,
according to police documents.
Ms. Come was arraigned Saturday morning in town of Watertown Court and sent to
the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building under $500 bail.

Woman Arrested at Fort Drum Gate

Emily W. Smith, 21, Stowe, Vt., was charged by state police at 9:50
p.m. Friday at Fort Drum's north gate with driving while ability impaired and
unlawful possession of marijuana.
She is to appear in LeRay Town Court on Feb. 11.

Glenfield Man Possessed Drugs

Patrick Ford, 52, Pine Grove Road, Glenfield, was cited by Lowville
village police on Tuesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a
controlled substance.
Police said he they found an unmarked container of hydrocodone pills in his
vehicle during a traffic stop on Stow Street. He is summoned to appear in
Village Court. Lewis County sheriff's deputies assisted at the scene.

Say Woman Hit Man While He Held Baby

Watertown police arrested Rose M. Levan, 44, of 133 Maywood Terrace,
at 9:00 p.m. Thursday after she allegedly struck her boyfriend twice in the
face while he was holding a 1-year-old boy.
She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Police also said
another boy, 2, was standing within six feet when she hit Billy J. Fleming,
same address, and was crying hysterically.

Charge Lodged Against City Man

Dennis W. Longway II, 41, of 652 Arsenal St., Apt. 108, was charged by
Watertown police at 9:07 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Franklin Street with
disorderly conduct.
Police said he created an unreasonable amount of noise when he was allegedly
yelling and screaming profanities causing other residents to come outside to
see what was occurring. He also allegedly failed to comply with police orders
to quiet down, they said.
