Two
Watertown Men Accused of Driving While Intoxicated

The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
Ryan K. Herbstler, 21, of 6 Marie St., Massena, was charged by state
police on Friday on Andrew Street in the village of Massena with driving while
intoxicated and driving on shoulder of roadway. Troopers said his blood alcohol
content was 0.13 percent. A BAC level
of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. He
is to answer the charges on Aug. 5 in Village Court.

Calvin D. Williams, 25, of 109 N. Orchard St., Watertown, was charged by
Watertown police at 2:23 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Arsenal Street with
aggravated driving while intoxicated and speeding 43 mph in a 30-mph zone. His
blood alcohol content was 0.19 percent, police said. Aggravated
DWI, which carries a harsher sentence upon conviction, is charged when the BAC
is 0.18 percent or more. Mr. Williams is to answer the charges July 23 in City
Court.
Nathan P. Lawlor, 20, of 1006 Holcomb St., was stopped by Watertown
police at 2:51 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Bellew Avenue and charged
with aggravated DWI and failure to keep right. His BAC was 0.20 percent, police
said. He is to appear July 24 in City Court.
Ronald L. Dorr, 45, of 33862 Sam Adams Road, Cape Vincent, was charged
by state police at 10:27 p.m. Tuesday with aggravated driving while intoxicated
and unsafe backing. Troopers said he was arrested after a minor property damage
accident on Sam Adams Road in the town of Cape Vincent that was reported by an
anonymous caller. His blood alcohol content was 0.27 percent, troopers said. He is to appear July 22 in Cape Vincent Town
Court.
Rachel R. Misercola, 22, of 171 Haney St., Watertown, was charged by
Watertown police at 4:14 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Arsenal Street with
aggravated DWI and failure to signal. Police said her BAC was 0.18 percent. She
is to appear July 28 in city Court.
Jamal A.C. Lawson, 23, of 564 Mill St., upper apartment, Watertown, was
stopped by Watertown police at 1:47 a.m. Wednesday on City Center Drive after
allegedly spinning his vehicle's tires causing in the 500 block of Coffeen
Street. He was charged with DWI and unsafe start. His BAC was 0.15 percent,
police said. He is to answer the charges July 23 in City Court.
Chad Hall, 23, of 8428 Willow St., Evans Mills, was charged by Jefferson
County sheriff's deputies at 11:41 p.m. Sunday on S. Main Street in Evans Mills
with DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unsafe backing.
His blood alcohol content was 0.09 percent, deputies said.
He
is to appear July 14 in LeRay Town Court.
Nicholas R. Ooten, 21, of 10524 5th Armor Div. Dr., Apt. 235, Fort Drum,
was stopped by Watertown police at 2:26 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of N.
Pleasant Street after being observed "fishtailing" and crossing the
center line three times while traveling west on State Street. Mr. Ooten was
charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. Police
said his blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent. He was released to military custody and ordered to
appear July 28 in City Court.
