THURSDAY, MAY 14, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/13/09 at 6:31 p.m., James F. Cook, 26, of 88 Maiden Lane, Bldg# Lot 12, Oswego, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree and Criminal Contempt, Second Degree, both class A misdemeanors following an incident which reportedly occurred at a town of Scriba residence in which he allegedly violated a stay away order of protection by going to the residence of the individuals listed on the order and threw a rock at a truck on the residentís property. Mr. Cook was released on appearance tickets, returnable to Scriba Town Court on 5/28/09. 

WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/12/09 at 4:24 p.m., Robert J. Cottet, 46, of CR 23 Bldg# 163, Constantia, was arrested for DWI; Aggravated DWI and Crossing Road Hazard Markings following a traffic stop on I 81 south bound in the Town of Richland of which was initiated when he was reportedly observed crossing the fog line more than once by patrol.  Mr. Cottet was RORíd and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Richland Court on 6/8/09. 

TUESDAY, MAY 12, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/11/09 at 10:01 a.m., Joelle B. Catalano, 27, of 159 Green Acres Dr., Liverpool, NY was arrested for Criminal Trespass, 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor stemming from an incident in which she allegedly entered a T/O Parish residence after repeatedly being told not to.  Ms. Catalano was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to Parish Town Court on May 26. 

MONDAY, MAY 11, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/09/09 at 11:23 p.m., Tysheene R. Page, 31, of 207 Waltha, Apt. 643C, Watertown, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, following the investigation into a disabled vehicle on SR 104 in the town of Scriba. Ms. Page was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges before Town of Scriba Court on 5/28/09. 

On 5/05/09, Kevin C. Worlock, 38, of 73 Lower Road, Constantia, NY, was operating a 2008 Chevrolet northbound on CR 11 in the Town of Parish at 8:38 p.m., when he collided with a 1998 Lincoln driven by Sara A. Montclair, 17, of 76 Brecheimer Road, Central Square, NY.  The incident occurred at the intersection of Tanner Road when Mr. Worlock drove into the southbound lane in an attempt to avoid contact with the Lincoln, which was turning off Tanner Road onto CR 11 in a southerly direction.  The impact caused the Lincoln to be pushed off the road just west of CR 11.  Ms. Montclair was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse.  Unsafe speed and obstructed view appear to have been contributing factors in the incident.   

On 5/08/09 at 7:07 p.m., Zachary T. Wiltse, 23, of 416 W. Fifth St., Oswego, was arrested for Robbery, Third Degree, and Reckless Endangerment, First Degree, both class D felonies.  Mr. Wiltse was arraigned before the Hon. Michael Sterio, Town of Oswego Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 5/11/09. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in the town of Oswego when Mr. Wiltse allegedly forcibly took a purse from a driver as they traveled southbound CR 25.  During the struggle the driver ran off the roadway and when she stopped, Mr. Wiltse reportedly jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Mr. Wiltse was located hiding in the bedroom of an apartment located on CR 25 

On 5/08/09 at 8:30 p.m., Tara M. Gardner, 30, of 284 Durbin Rd., Hannibal, NY, was arrested for Menacing, Third Degree, a class B misdemeanor, stemming from a domestic incident that occurred at a Town of Volney residence during which she, in the company of a male, allegedly pounded on the door of the residence threatening to beat up the woman inside.  Ms. Gardner was arraigned before the Hon. James Aluzzi, Town of Volney Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.  She is scheduled to return to court on 5/18/09. Investigation into the incident continues at this time. 

ON 5/08/09 at 9:15 p.m., Albert A. Lawler, 39, of 2657 SR 3, Fulton, was arrested at a Town of Volney mobile home park, charged with Disorderly Conduct, a violation, stemming from the investigation into an unrelated verbal domestic incident that had occurred.  Reportedly uncooperative during the investigation, and upon preparing to leave the scene, Mr. Lawler allegedly yelled at an officer, calling him a derogatory name.  Mr. Lawler was arraigned before the Hon. James Aluzzi, Town of Volney Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail.  He is scheduled to return to court on 5/11/09. 

On 5/09/09 at 1:15 a.m., Devon J. Harris, 18, of 233 Maiden Lane, Oswego, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, Speed in Zone, Unlicensed Operator, and No Inspection Certificate, following a traffic stop that occurred on CR 20 in the Town of Oswego.  The man was released on tickets returnable to Town of Oswego Court on 5/18/09. 

On 5/09/09 at 11:30 a.m., John W. Elmer, 38, of 1076 Rathburn Road, Oswego, NY, was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree, stemming from the investigation into a motor vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Rathburn Road, one-half mile north of SR 3, in the Town of Granby where Mr. Elmer reportedly lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on property at 113 Rathburn Road as well as a mailbox with post at 118 Rathburn Road before leaving the scene.  Slippery pavement appears to have been a contributing factor with road condition reportedly wet from rain at the time.  Mr. Elmer was located at his home and ticketed.  He is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Granby Court on 6/01/09. 

On 5/09/09 at 11:08 p.m., a 17-year-old male residing in Sterling, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated; Driving with .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree; Failed to Keep Right; and No Inspection Certificate following a traffic stop on CR 7 in the Town of Hannibal.  The traffic stop was initiated after he was reportedly observed swerving back and forth crossing over the center line and fog line while driving eastbound on SR 3, then again crossing over the center line while making a wide turn onto CR 7.  The youth is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Hannibal Court on 5/19/09. 

On 5/10/09 at 10:45 a.m., Ted C. Davis, II, 42, of 2620 CR 176, Fulton, NY, was arrested for violating the Sex Offender Registry under NYS Corrections Law, by reportedly failing to update his photograph, failing to register or verify, and failing to verify his address annually.  Mr. Davis was issued three separate appearance tickets and released.  He is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Volney Court on 5/18/09.
