13 Motorists Facing Driving While Intoxicated Charges

The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

Mark A. Gettys, 23, Dover, Pa., was stopped by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 1:36 a.m. Saturday on Route 283 in the town of LeRay, and charged with driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was 0.16 percent, deputies said. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. He is to answer the charges in LeRay Town Court. 

John J. Weiler, 31, of 35 S. Main St., Adams, was charged by Watertown police at 1:11 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Factory Street with DWI. His BAC was 0.15 percent, police said. He was also cited with an equipment violation. He is to appear Dec. 1 City Court. 

Michael D. Eddings Jr., 22, of 25347 Virginia Smith Dr., Apt. 5, Calcium was charged by Watertown police at 12:28 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Factory Street with DWI and failure to signal a turn. His BAC was 0.13 percent, police said. Mr. Eddings was released to military custody and ordered to appear Dec. 8 in City Court.

Teresa A. Mothersell, 27, Carthage, was charged by state police at 12:58 a.m. Saturday on Route 11 in the town of Watertown with DWI and speeding. Her BAC was not made available. She is to answer the charges in town of Watertown Court.

Stephen C. Burke, 18, Taberg, was charged by state police at 1:20 a.m. Saturday on Ford Street in the village of Boonville with DWI. His BAC was not made available.

Matthew P. Gleba, 23, Blossvale, was charged by state police at 2:40 a.m. Saturday on Route 26 in the town of Ava with DWI. His BAC was not made available.

Todd M. Ingersoll, 27, Parish, was charged by state police at 12:35 a.m. on Route 69 in the town of Mexico with aggravated DWI. His BAC was not made available.

Michael C. Maslyn, 43, of 8251 County Route 125, Chaumont, was charged by Watertown police at 11:10 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Factory Street with DWI and having a defective headlight. Police said his blood alcohol content was 0.13 percent. He is to answer the charges Dec. 2 in City Court.

Douglas C. Ada, 41, Hammond, was charged by state police at 10:54 p.m. Thursday on County 6 in the town of Morristown with DWI after he crossed over the fog line nearly striking a parked state police patrol vehicle. His BAC was 0.14 percent, troopers said. He was also cited with failing to notify DMV of an address change, uninspected vehicle, crossing hazard markings and talking on a cell phone while operating a vehicle.

Erin A. Marra, 27, Turin, was charged by state police at 3:14 a.m. Friday on Route 12 in the town of Martinsburg with DWI. Her BAC was unavailable. 


Adam M. Turck, 23, Castorland, was charged state police at 2:10 a.m. Thursday in the northbound lane of Interstate 81 in the town of Adams with DWI following a one-car rollover accident. His blood alcohol content was 0.12 percent. Trooper said he refused medical treatment at the scene. The accident was reported at 1:05 a.m. He is summoned to appear in Adams Town Court.

Samantha L. Webb, 21, of 2422 Alexandria Meadows, Apt. 2, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:49 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Washington Street with DWI, failure to keep right and unlicensed driver. Police said her blood alcohol content was 0.12 percent. She is to answer the charges in City Court.

David M. Rockefeller, 23, of Warren Center, Pa., was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday on Route 12E in the town of Clayton with DWI, reckless driving, speeding and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle. Deputies said his blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent. A report indicated he was driving over 90 mph when stopped. He is to answer the charges in Clayton Town Court.
