THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 12/2/09 at 1:15 p.m., William R. Neville, 26, of 120 Co Rte 51, Mexico, was arrested based on a Family Court Warrant issued by Hon. Judge Seager charging him with an Unspecified Violation of the Family Court Act.  Mr. Neville was ROR’d with a referral to the Oswego County Probation Department for further processing. 


WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 11/30/09 at 9:03 a.m., Janice L. Manford, 51, of 185 Martville Rd., Hannibal, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Marihuana, 3rd degree, a class E felony and Unlawful Growing of Cannabis following an investigation during a joint detail with Border Patrol over property in the Town of Hannibal where live plants were reportedly found to be growing behind her residence. Ms. Manford was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to the T/O Hannibal Court on 12/29/09. 

On 11/30/09 at 10:09 a.m., Brandon D. Conway, 21, of 110 Bardeen Rd., Hastings, was arrested for Petit Larceny, a  class A misdemeanor, after he was accused of stealing a GPS and satellite radio receiver out of a vehicle in the Town of Hastings on 11/9/09.  Mr. Conway was arraigned before the Town of Hastings Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 bond with a return to court date of 12/7/09. 

On 11/30/09 at 3:18 p.m., Thomas W. Brown, 30, of Countryman Road Bldg# 21, Mexico was arrested for Menacing, second-degree, a class A misdemeanor and Aggravated Harassment, second-degree following the investigation into an incident in which he allegedly showed up at a Town of Palermo residence carrying a rifle and verbally threatening the residents over the telephone. Mr. Brown was arraigned in the Town of Palermo Court by the Hon. Judge Hart and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility with no bail.  He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Schroeppel Court on 12/1/09 for the Harassment charge and Town of Palermo Court on 12/7/09 for the Menacing charge. 

On 12/1/09, Stefan L. Ripley, 40, of 211 Elderberry Lane, Central Square, was arrested at 4:45 p.m., at the Syracuse Public Safety Building based on an arrest warrant issued by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Dept. charging him with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender; Failure to Notify Change of Address and Sex Offender Registration Violation.  Mr. Ripley was arraigned in the Town of Hastings Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail with a return to T/O Hastings Court on 12/7/09. 

On 12/1/09 at 4:40 p.m., Terry L. Cronk, 31, of 38 Bert Howard Dr., Central Square, was arrested for AUO, second-degree ( suspended 7 times with 5 on 3 dates) and Speed in Excess of 55 mph following a traffic stop at the intersection of Rathburn Rd. and SR 3 in the Town of Granby. Mr. Kronk was arraigned in the Town of Granby by Honl Judge Winkworth and ROR’d with a return to court date of 12/2/09. 


TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 11/18/09 at 8:44 a.m., Michael M. Hammond, 29, of 1232 CR85, Hannibal, was charged with Operation While Registration Suspended (insurance lapse 9/28/09), which was revealed during the investigation into a motor vehicle property damage accident that occurred on 11/17/09 when a deer reportedly entered the roadway and struck his vehicle.  Mr. Hammond was released on a ticket returnable to Town of Hannibal Court on 12/08/09. 

On 11/25/09, Jason R. Lewis, 30, of 234 Center St., Cleveland, NY, was operating a 2001 Dodge pickup truck eastbound on SR 49 in the Village of Central Square at 7:53 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle at the I-81 northbound off ramp.  Mr. Lewis reportedly looked down momentarily and when he looked up the traffic light had turned red.  Slamming on his brakes, he slid into the intersection and collided with a northbound 2008 Dodge pickup truck driven by C.J. Bandera, 42, of 106 Lakewood Pines Trailer Park, Syracuse. Mr. Bandera was reportedly towing a trailer and attempting to make a left hand turn onto SR 49 when the incident occurred. Mr. Lewis was ticketed for Passing a Red Light. 

On 11/28/09 at 11:55 p.m., Adam C. Falter, Jr., 20, of 70 SR 176, Apt. D, Hannibal, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (failure to answer a summons), Unregistered Motor Vehicle, No Inspection Certificate, and Stopped/Parked/or Standing on Roadway, following an investigation after his vehicle was found illegally parked on Cayuga Street in the Village of Hannibal. Mr. Falter is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Hannibal Court on 12/08/09. 

On 11/30/09 at 10:09 a.m., Brandon D. Conway, 21, of 110 Bardeen Road, Hastings, was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, after he was accused of stealing a satellite radio receiver from a a vehicle in the Town of Hastings on 11/09/09.  Mr. Conway was arraigned before Town of Hastings Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 12/07/09 to answer the charge.

On 11/30/09 at 5:10 p.m., Ronald K. Rhoades, 38, of 16 North 6th St., Fulton, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended for failure to pay a driver responsibility assessment on 12/26/2008), and Inadequate Lighting following a traffic stop after he was observed driving a vehicle with one headlight out on SR 481 in the Town of Scriba.  Mr. Rhoades is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Scriba Court on 12/17/09. 

On 11/30/09 at 7:15 p.m., Bryan S. Coulter, 20, of 501 Phinney Road, Hannibal, NY, was arrested at the Town of Granby Court House for Menacing, Second Degree; four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Fourth Degree; and Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, all class A misdemeanors, stemming from the investigation into a domestic incident that had occurred on 11/29/09 at his residence during which he allegedly struck a male victim with the butt end of a shot gun during an argument between the two, while in the presence of four minors. He is also accused of causing damage to the residence by allegedly ripping a phone line out of a wall and by causing damage to the victim’s vehicle when he punched it. Mr. Coulter was arraigned before the Hon. Edwin Winkworth and remanded to the Oswego County correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 12/02/09.

MONDAY, November 30, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 11/27/09 at 6:41 p.m., David C. Robinson, 30, of 4922 North Jefferson St., Apt. A., Pulaski, NY, was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, after he was reportedly observed leaving the Byrne Dairy Store located in the Village of Pulaski with beer he had not paid for. Mr. Robinson was located at his residence where he was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is scheduled to answer the charge before Village of Pulaski Court on 12/09/09. 

On 11/28/09 at 6:51 p.m., Mariel L. Spano, 27, of 242 River Meadow Drive, Rochester, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree (suspended four times on three dates), and Failure to Keep Right, following a traffic stop on US Route 11 in the Village of Pulaski. Ms. Spano reportedly crossed into the oncoming lane while making a turn onto the bridge over the Salmon River, causing a patrol vehicle traveling in the opposite direction to maneuver to avoid colliding with her vehicle. Ms. Spano was released on tickets returnable to Village of Pulaski Court on 1/06/10. 

On 11/25/09 at 2:00 p.m., Laura A. Shoults, 41, of 23 Pollard Road, Lot 7, Hannibal, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended for no insurance on 9/30/09); No Inspection Certificate; Operation While Registration Suspended; Operation Without Insurance; and Improper Plates, following a traffic stop on SR 481 after a check of her license plate revealed it to be an expired trailer plate. Ms. Shoults was released on tickets returnable to Oswego City Court on 1/07/10. 

On 11/26/09 at 12:05 a.m., Kevin M. White, 42, of 34 Morin Drive, Fulton, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (failure to pay child support on 4/03/09) following the investigation into a property damage accident that occurred on SR 48 in the Town of Granby. Mr. White was issued a ticket returnable to Town of Granby Court on 12/14/09. Mr. White was reportedly operating a 2005 Ford pickup truck northbound on SR 48 at 11:35 p.m. when he lost control at the intersection of Windemere where he reportedly drove off the east shoulder of the roadway into a ditch. The truck reportedly crossed over to the west side and went off the roadway with no collision, then crossed back over the roadway, coming to rest on the east side of SR 48. Driver inattention appears to have been a contributing factor, deputies said.

On 11/27/09 at 3:02 a.m., Terry L. Cronk, 31, of 38 Bert Howard Drive, Central Square, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree (suspended/revoked for five scoffs on three dates:     04/23/2000 - revocation for three speeding violations or misdemeanors in 18 months, 02/02/2007 - suspension for administrative action by department, 09/28/2005 - suspension for failure to pay fine Town of Schroeppel, 10/16/2002 - suspension for failure to answer a summons Town of Schroeppel, and 02/02/2001 - suspension for failure to answer a summons Town of Athens), and Lighting Not in Use, following a traffic stop after he was observed driving a vehicle eastbound on SR 49 without a driver’s side headlight.  Mr. Cronk was released on tickets returnable to Village of Central Square Court on 12/12/09.  

On 11/27/09 at 12:00 p.m., William H. Spear, 33, last known address 75 E. 10 ½ St., Oswego, was detained by a member of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office and turned over to an Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputy. Mr. Spear was subsequently arrested based on a warrant charging him with Violation of Probation.  He is currently being held without bail in the Oswego County Correctional Facility awaiting an arraignment before Oswego County Court. 

On 11/27/09 at 3:30 p.m., Timothy F. Moss, 54, of 231 Churchill Road, Oswego, was issued a Criminal Summons charging him with Trespass, a violation, stemming from an incident that occurred on 11/08/09 when he was accused of riding a four-wheeler on neighboring property without permission. Mr. Moss is scheduled to answer the charge before the Hon. Douglas Crouse, Town of Scriba Court, on 12/17/09. 

On 11/27/09 at 5:00 p.m., William B. Russell, 20, of 415 CR 51A, Oswego, was issued a Criminal Summons issued by Town of Scriba Court charging him with Trespass, a violation, after he allegedly drove a pickup truck down a neighbor’s driveway and across the lawn on 11/07/09. No Trespassing signs are posted on the property and Mr. Russell has been previously warned in the past to stay off the property. Mr. Russell is scheduled to appear before Town of Scriba Court on 12/17/09 to answer the charge.

On 11/28/09 at 2:56 a.m., Susan A. Linerode, 39, of 14 Spring St., Mexico, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, and Failed to Keep Right following a traffic stop on SR 104 just east of Creamery Road in the Town of Scriba after she reportedly failed to dim her headlights while driving eastbound on SR 104. She was subsequently also observed crossing over the center line several times. Ms. Linerode was issued tickets returnable to Town of Court on 12/17/09 and released to a third party. 

On 11/28/09 at 5:02 a.m., Matthew P. Kires, 22, of 80 Tannery Road, Constantia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, Failure to Keep Right, and Operation While Registration Suspended, following an investigation after his vehicle was reported to be off the road in a ditch at SR 49 and CR 23. Alcohol and falling asleep appear to have been contributing factors in the incident.  Mr. Kires was released on tickets returnable to Town of Constantia Court on 11/30/09. 

On 11/28/09 at 11:40 a.m., a 17 year old male residing in the City of Fulton was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from the investigation into an incident that took place in the Town of Minetto in August, 2009 when he allegedly stole a Nintendo game that had been left at his residence and subsequently pawned it at a local pawn shop. The youth was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Minetto Court on 12/03/09. 

On 11/29/09 at 2:56 a.m., Tammi D. Bogart, 39, of 478 Darrow Road, Lot 3, Mexico, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Crossed Hazardous Road Markings, following a traffic stop after she was observed crossing over hazardous road markings several times while driving north on CR 16. Ms. Bogart was arraigned before the Hon. James Gracey, Town of Mexico Court, and released to a third party. The is scheduled to return to court on 12/15/09.
