Watertown Woman Facing Drug Charges

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Jennifer M. Hennigan, 23, of 1017 Gill St., Apt. B, was charged by Watertown police at 1:39 p.m. Monday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police said he was found in possession of 48 Zolpidem Tartrate tablets, a class IV scheduled narcotic, and marijuana at her residence.

She was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court.

City Man Accused of Stealing Neighbor's Keys

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Watertown police charged a man Monday evening after he allegedly stole two door keys from a neighbor.

Sheldon B. Dukes, 33, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 43, was charged at 8:22 p.m. with petit larceny and held on $500 police bail pending arraignment in City Court.

He is accused of stealing two keys belonging to Ryan S. Clough, same address, Apt. 45, at about 6:15 p.m. Monday, police said.

Alexandria Bay Man Accused of Assaulting Wife on Christmas Eve

ALEXANDRIA BAY, N.Y.  —  Telfourd T. Wynne II, 26, of 12 Washington St., was charged at 11:57 p.m. Dec. 24 with third-degree assault, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies allege Mr. Wynne pushed his wife, Meggin B., and shut her right hand in a door during a domestic dispute in their home at about 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Ms. Wynne was treated a River Hospital for injuries to her hand, according to court documents.

He was arraigned in Antwerp Town Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at $500. He is summoned to appear Jan. 6 in Alexandria Bay Village Court.
