Watertown Woman Accused of Stealing Another's Cell Phone, Medication

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Andrea L. Fender, 38, of 217 S. Pleasant St., was charged by Watertown police at 6:45 p.m. Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, petit larceny and second-degree criminal trespass.

Police allege Ms. Fender remained in the apartment of Rebecca J. Minnick at 137 William St., at about 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and refused to leave. She then allegedly stole a Sprint cell phone valued at $100 and 40 pills of Endocet, a scheduled II narcotic, according to court documents.

She is summoned to appear Jan. 19 in City Court.


   

4 People Charged with Fighting Outside Nightclub

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Watertown police charged for people early Sunday outside The Dome, 210 Factory St., with disorderly conduct.

Brandi G. Bowe, 27, of 9921 Saratoga Rd., Apt. B, Fort Drum, was allegedly observed by police fighting in an alley between the bar and Morrison's Furniture at about 2:25 a.m. She then allegedly made an aggressive move towards an officer and struggled while being handcuffed, police said. She was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 bail pending arraignment Sunday morning in town of Watertown Court.

Phillip E. Bowe, 28, of 9921 Saratoga Rd., Apt. B, Fort Drum, allegedly swung his arms while be restrained by bar staff and an officer at about 2:13 a.m. Police also said he continued to yell and lunged towards an officer. He was released to military custody and ordered to appear Jan. 19 in City Court. 

Jacob R. LaPlante, 19, of 10314 Fourth Armored Div. Dr., Apt. 319, Fort Drum, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. Sunday after engaging a fight outside the bar, police said. He was released to military custody and ordered to appear Jan. 19 in City Court.

Santos C. Minayapichardo, 21, of 10315 Fourth Armored Div. Dr., Apt. 224. Fort Drum, was arrested at 2:08 Sunday after allegedly engaging in a fight by pushing another man outside the bar, according to police documents. He was released to military custody and ordered to appear Jan. 11 in City Court.


2 Teens Arrested After Domestic Dispute

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Anthony W. Murphy, and Jonathan T. Murphy, both 16, of 337 Flower Ave. E., were each charged with second-degree harassment at 2:03 a.m. Sunday.

Watertown police said both teens punched each other in the face with a closed fist during a domestic dispute at their residence that was witnessed by officers.

They were each being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $100 police bail pending arraignment Sunday morning before town of Watertown Justice James P. McClusky.


Watertown Teen Facing Criminal Nuisance Charge

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Gabrelle J. Gehring, 19, of 201 Sterling St. Apt. 3, was charged at 11:24 p.m. Saturday with criminal nuisance.

Watertown police allege she allowed a person under the age of 21 to enter and remain inside a residence for the purpse of consuming alcohol at about 2:43 a.m. on Dec. 6.

She is ordered to appear Jan. 21 in City Court.


Man, Woman Accused of Disturbing Neighbors

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Michael D. Yarbrough, 42, of 201 Sterling St., Apt. 6, was charged by Watertown police at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, with disorderly conduct after he allegedly yelled, screamed, banged on an apartment wall causing a picture frame to fall and played loud music which disturbed a neighbor in apt. 6. He was held on $100 police bail pending arraignment Saturday morning in town of Watertown Court.

About 90 minutes later, Cynthia M. Garnsey, 43, same address, was also charged with disorderly conduct after she yelled and played loud music in her apartment after being previously warned two times earlier by police to quiet down. She was held on $100 police bail pending arraignment Saturday morning in town of Watertown Court.


   

5 People Arrested Early Friday Outside Bar

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Watertown police early Friday morning arrested five people after disturbances outside Edge of the River Pub, 519 W. Main St.

Anthony D. McClary, 26, of 637 Gotham St., was charged at 1:41 a.m. with disorderly conduct after he allegedly punched another man in the face. He was released from custody after posting $100 bail. Police noted on arrest report that Mr. McClary was on probationary release by Jefferson County Court and was wearing a home monitoring ankle bracelet at the of his arrest.

Dustan V. P. Mitchell, 25, of 637 Gotham St., was charged at 1:41 a.m. with disorderly conduct after he yelled and attempted to fight another man while being restrained by bar staff, police said. He was released after posting $100 bail, and is ordered to appear Jan. 12 in City Court. 

Shawndra L. Johnson, 24, of 146 N. Orchard St., Apt. B, was arrested at 2:52 a.m. after she allegedly yelled at an officer and ignored orders to leave the area. She was charged with disorderly conduct and summoned to appear Jan. 12 in City Court. She also posted $100 bail.

Larry J. Butcher Jr., 30, of 119 E. Lynde St., Apt. 4, was charged at 2:50 a.m. with disorderly conduct after engaging in a fight in the outdoor smoking area of the bar, police said. He posted $100 bail and is to appear Jan. 12 in City Court. 

Mark J. Peabody, 27, of 107 E. Dexter St., Apt. 38, Black River, was arrested at 4:17 a.m. after being observed yelling at a group of people in an attempt to start a fight, police said. He is to answer the charges Jan. 12 in City Court.


2 Teens Cited with Possessing Pot, Beer in Hotel Room at Day's Inn

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Watertown police early Friday morning charged two teens with possessing marijuana and alcohol in a hotel room at Day's Inn, 110 Commerce Park Dr.

Brandon M. Conway, 18, of 44 Maywood Terrace, and Kenna R. Williams, 17, of 537 Pearl St., was both summoned to appear Jan. 12 in City Court.


Deputies: Man Stalked Woman, Stole Her Purse

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Coty T. Morgia, 19, of 845 Starbuck Ave., Apt. 1503, was charged Dec. 29 with second-degree aggravated harassment, fourth-degree stalking and petit larceny.

He is accused of follow Allison L. Ross, 19, to her place of employment, Red Lobster, 20831 Route 3, stole her purse valued at $400 and then repeatedly called her cell phone, work and home at about 5:15 p.m. Dec. 29. 

Mr. Morgia was arraigned before town of Watertown Justice Andrew N. Capone who sent him to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 bail. He is summoned to re-appear in town court on Jan. 7.
