Motorists Facing Driving While Intoxicated Charges

The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related
offenses:
Thron J. Alexander, 21, New York City, was charged by Jefferson County
sheriff's deputies at 2:59 a.m. Sunday on Route 126 in the town of Rutland with
DWI and driving without a license. His blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent,
deputies said. A BAC level of 0.08
percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. He is
summoned to appear March 9 in Rutland Town Court.
Jacob R. Andrews, 21, Kansas City, Mo., was charged by Jefferson County
sheriff's deputies at 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 3 in the town of Hounsfield
with DWI, possession of a hypodermic instrument, driving too slow, driving
across hazard markings, no insurance, no inspection, driving on a suspended
registration, consumption of alcohol in a vehicle and refusing a breathalyzer
test. He is to answer the charges in Hounsfield Town Court.
Shawn W. Lyndaker, 28, Sackets Harbor, was charged by state police at
2:28 a.m. Sunday on Route 3 in the town of Hounsfield with DWI. His BAC and
other detailer were not available.
James E. Perry, 29, Savannah, Ga., was charged by Jefferson County
sheriff's deputies at 1:56 a.m. Sunday on Church Street in Carthage with DWI,
improper signal and stopping on pavement. Deputies listed his BAC at 0.11
percent. He is to answer the charges March 13 in Village Court.
Christopher S. Taulbee, 26, of 26403 Lynn Circle, Calcium, was charged
by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 1:04 a.m. Saturday on Route 12F in
the town of Hounsfield with aggravated DWI, driving across hazard markings and
having an inadequate license plate lamp. His BAC was 0.21 percent, deputies
said. Aggravated DWI, which carries a harsher sentence upon conviction, is charged when the
blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or more. He was allegedly
observed stopped at a flashing yellow caution light, and then drove across the
fog line twice before being halted, they said. He is to answer the charges
March 25 in Hounsfield Town Court.
Raymond S. Avery, 42, of 17481 Route 11, Lot 13L, Watertown, was charged
by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 10:38 p.m. Saturday on County Route
62 in the town of Hounsfield with DWI, failure to keep right, driving across
hazard markings and unlawful possession of marijuana. His BAC was 0.14 percent,
deputies said. He is summoned to appear March 18 in Hounsfield Town
Court.
Charles H. Bartlett, 61, Cicero, was charged by state police at 8:09
p.m. Saturday on Route 3 in the town of Sandy Creek with felony DWI. His BAC
and other detailer were not available.
Ernest M. Sipka, 26, Virginia Beach, Va., was charged by Jefferson
County sheriff's deputies at 10:58 p.m. Friday on Route 3 in the town of LeRay
with DWI, driving across hazard markings and speeding 64 mph in a 45-mph zone.
His BAC was 0.16 percent, deputies said. He is to answer the charges March 29
in LeRay Town Court.
Pierre R. Castellares-Levano, 34, of 10434 5th Armored Division Dr.,
Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 1:56 a.m. Saturday in the 100
block of Polk Street with DWI and failure to keep right. His blood alcohol
content was 0.12 percent, police said. He was released to military custody and ordered to appear March 23 in City
Court.
Charles D. Hansert, 29, of 10414 5th Armored Division Dr., Fort Drum,
was charged by Watertown police at 11:40 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of State
Street with aggravated DWI and unsafe start. His BAC was 0.19 percent, police
said. He was released to
military custody and ordered to appear March 23 in City Court.
Kristin V. Smiling, 22, Mannsville, was charged by state police at 9:48
p.m. Friday on Route 11 in the village of Sandy Creek with aggravated DWI.
Troopers listed her BAC at 0.25 percent.
William C. Rowland, 43, Lacona, was charged by state police at 1:39 a.m.
Saturday on County Route 15 in the town of Sandy Creek with DWI. Mr. Rowland allegedly
refused a breathalyzer test.
Clifford G. Cole, 42, Fine, was charged by state police at 9:45 p.m.
Friday on Route 58 in the town of Fine with DWI. His was BAC was
available.
William B. Kuebelbeck, 43, of 40131 Hyde Lake Road, Theresa, was charged
by state police at 10:02 p.m. Thursday on Bridge Street in Theresa with felony
DWI and failure to keep right. His BAC was listed at 0.14 percent, police said.

Dustin T. Sadler, 22, of 9222 General Brown Loop, Apt. B, Fort Drum, was
charged by Watertown police at 1:43 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of
Huntington Street with DWI and failure to keep right. His blood alcohol content
was 0.13 percent, police said.
He is ordered to appear March 16 in City Court.
Richard J. Moore, 39, of 29291 County Route 69, Copenhagen, was charged
by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 6:43 p.m. Monday on Route 12 in the
town of Watertown with aggravated DWI. His BAC was 0.18 percent, deputies said.
He was also cited with
failure to keep right. He is to appear March 4 in town of Watertown Court.
Shane A. Townsend, 22, of 240 E. Main St., Apt. 2, Watertown, was
charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 1:09 a.m. Sunday on N.
Memorial Drive in the town of LeRay with aggravated DWI and speeding. His BAC
was 0.21 percent, deputies said. He is to answer the charges in LeRay Town
Court.
Bradford R. Reed, 47, Gobles, Mich., was charged by state police at 4:00
p.m. Tuesday at U.S. Customs in the town of Orleans with DWI. His BAC was 0.14
percent, troopers said. He allegedly attempted to enter the United State and
was found to be intoxicated as drove up to the customs booth, they said. He is
to appear March 16 in Orleans Town Court.
Kyle C. Stout, 31, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., was charged by Jefferson
County sheriff's deputies at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday with DWI following an accident
at the intersection of routes 178 and 84 in the town of Adams. Deputies said he
was traveling too fast as he was approaching the intersection, failed to stop
at a stop sign, went through a guardrail and the 2008 Ford pickup truck came to
rest in a ditch. He was taken to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment of
chest pains, according to an accident report. A blood sample was taken at the
hospital to determine his BAC, deputies said. He was also charged with
third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to stop at a stop sign
and speed not reasonable and prudent. He is to answer the charges March 17 in
Adams Town Court.

Charged with snowmobiling while intoxicated:
Timothy D. Kerwin, 29, of 7148 Court Rd., was charged at 10:49 p.m.
Saturday in the town of Ellisburg with snowmobiling while intoxicated. His BAC
was 0.15 percent, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. He is
to answer the charges in Ellisburg Town Court.
