FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, MEDIA RELEASE
2/1/12 at 7:00 p.m., Tamara L. Thayer, 35, of
2751 SR 104, Mexico, was arrested for AUO, 3rd
degree (suspended on 11/2/12 due to insurance lapse) and
No Head Lights following a traffic stop on Main St. in the
Village of Mexico. Ms. Thayer was released on
UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Mexico Court on
2/21/12.
On 2/2/12 at 8:34 a.m., Rebecca L. Goodman, 35, of
1229 CR 3, Hannibal, was arrested for AUO, 3rd
degree( 3 scoffs on 2 dates, 2 x Failure to Answer Summons
in T/O Hannibal 1/12/11 and Failure to Answer Summons in
T/O Sterling on 7/22/11) and Failure to Yield the Right of
Way following the investigation into a mva at the
intersection of CR 8 and CR 3 in the Town of Granby after
the 1998 Dodge she was operating collided with a 2010
Subaru being operated by Reyne J. Pierce, 48, of
562 CR 8, Fulton. Ms. Goodman was issued UTT’s,
returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 2/20/12.
On 2/2/12 at 8:05 p.m., Gary D. Pinto, 31, of 148
Cayuga St., Oswego, was arrested for Registration
Suspended (suspended on 1/1/12 for insurance lapse) and
Insufficient Tail Lamps following a traffic stop on SR 48
in the Town of Granby. Mr. Pinto was released on UTT’s,
returnable to the Town of Granby Court on2/20/12.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2, MEDIA RELEASE
On 2/1/12 at 10:28 a.m., Roger W. Wallace, 59,
of 39 Birch Lane Bldg. 42, Apt A, Oswego, NY was arrested
for AUO, 2nd degree (suspended on 11/17/11 due
to pending DWI prosecution) and License Plate Violation
following a traffic stop on SR 481 southbound. Mr.
Wallace was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of
Volney Court on 2/27/12.
On
2/1/12 at 2:39 p.m., L D Ferriter Jr., 36, of 1993
CR 8, Oswego, NY was operating a 2010 Mazda west on CR 3,
900 feet east of Hanley Rd., in the Town of Granby when he
attempted to turn into a driveway at 595 CR 3 and collided
with a 2004 GMC pickup registered to Crest Automotive of
Fulton, NY, that was traveling east on CR 3 and being
operated by W C Farrands Jr., of 680 CR 3, Fulton, NY. Mr.
Ferriter was issued a UTT for Failure to Yield the Right
of Way.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, MEDIA RELEASE
On 1/30/12 at 6:29 a.m., Michael J. Burns, 55,
of 199 CR 23, Constantia, was operating a 2003 Chevrolet
west on SR 49 in the Village of Central Square, 1/10 mile
east of CR 12, attempting to make it up the hill when the
vehicle reportedly started sliding and collided with a
2003 Chevrolet pickup being operated by Russell M. Webb,
47, of 49 Baratier Rd., Hastings, that was traveling east
on SR 49, as it slid sideways. Mr. Burns was transported
by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
Slippery road conditions seem to have been a contributing
factor as it was snowing at the time.
On 1/31/12 at 1:44 p.m., Joey C. Chrisjohn, 41, of
299 W 5th St., Oswego, was operating a 1999
Pontiac van south on SR 48 in the Town of Minetto, 500
feet south of Gray Rd., and reportedly swerved to avoid a
2011 Ford pickup being operated by James R. Ormsby,
65, of PO Box 51, Fair Haven, which had slowed to make a
right hand turn into the driveway at 3112 SR 48 causing
the vehicle to strike a mailbox then side swipe Mr.
Ormsby’s vehicle. Mr. Chrisjohn was issued a UTT for
Following too Closely.
On 1/31/12 at 9:06 a.m., Dean J. Pieropan Jr., 23,
of 453 Middle Rd., Oswego, NY was arrested for Criminal
Obstruction of Breathing, a class A misdemeanor and
Menacing, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor
following an incident at a Town of Scriba residence where
he allegedly punched and kicked the victim in the face
then placed both hands around the victim’s neck and
attempted to stab them with a knife. Mr. Pieropan Jr. was
arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court by Hon. Judge Adkins
and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $250.00 cash or $500.00
bond with a return to court date of 2/9/12.
On 1/31/12 at 11:47 p.m., Michael J. Dineen, 53, of
Doris Park Drive, Bldg. 126, Constantia, NY was arrested
for DWI; Operating a MV with BAC .08 of 1%; Failure to
Keep Right and Failure to Dim Lights following a traffic
stop on SR 49 in the Town of Constantia after patrol
observed his 2006 Chevrolet pickup cross the center line
multiple times. Mr. Dineen was released on UTT’s,
returnable to the Town of Constantia Court on 2/13/12.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 31, MEDIA RELEASE
On 1/26/12 at 5:58 p.m., Richard A. Bushnell,
49, of 399 US Rt. 11 Apt. 5, Central Square, was issued a
Criminal Summons out of the Town of Hastings Court
charging him with Harassment, 2nd degree
stemming from an incident that occurred on 1/2/12 at a
residence in the Town of Hastings when he allegedly
grabbed the victim’s leg and twisted it, causing pain.
Mr. Bushnell is scheduled to appear in Hastings Town Court
on 2/6/12.
On 1/26/12 at 4:29 p.m., Margaret S. Ericksen, 51,
of PO Box 91, New Haven, was operating a 2002 Ford backing
out of a driveway at 12 Booth Rd. in the Town of New Haven
onto SR 104 and reportedly collided with a 2003 Dodge
suburban that was traveling west bound on SR 104 and being
operated by Shaina Crystal Pratt, 31, of 3128 US Rt
11, Parish. Ms. Ericksen was issued a UTT for Unsafe
Backing.
MONDAY, JANUARY 30, MEDIA RELEASE
On 1/29/12 at 1:59 a.m., Nicholas J. Kinney,
28, of 25 Maple Ave., Lacona, was arrested for Assault,
Third Degree, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood
Circulation, both class A misdemeanors, stemming from an
incident that occurred at another Lacona residence during
which he allegedly caused physical injury to a female
victim, accused of throwing the victim to the floor inside
the residence, grabbing her by the neck, throwing the
victim outside into the snow, continuously knocking her to
the ground, and placing his hands around her throat while
kneeling on her. Mr. Kinney was issued an appearance
ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town
of Sandy Creek Court on 2/09/12.
On 1/19/12 at 2:29 p.m., Brian F. Cross, 36, of 15
Park St. Drive, Lot 2, Bernhards Bay, NY, was ticketed for
Operation While Registration Suspended (insurance lapse on
1/05/12), following a traffic stop in the Village of
Pulaski after a License Plate Reader targeted his vehicle
as he drove on Jefferson Street. Mr. Cross is scheduled to
answer the charge before Village of Pulaski Court on
2/01/12.
On 1/28/12 at 5:45 a.m., Connie R. Ingoldby, 43, of
263 Bankrupt Road, Phoenix, was arrested for Driving While
Intoxicated stemming from a personal injury motor vehicle
accident that occurred on Oswego River Road in the Town of
Schroeppel. Reportedly, Ms. Ingoldby was operating a 1999
Ford northbound when it traveled off the east side of the
roadway, struck a driveway culvert at 380 Oswego River
Road, then became airborne over the culvert before coming
to rest in a ditch approximately 20 yards north of the
culvert. She was subsequently transported by ambulance to
Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Ms. Ingoldby was
released on a ticket returnable to Town of Schroeppel
Court on 2/22/12. Assisting at the scene were
members of the Phoenix Police Department, Phoenix Fire
Department, and Menter Ambulance. The incident remains
under investigation at this time.
On 1/18/12 at 3:49 p.m., Ridge A. Forrest, 21, of
37 South Jefferson St., Mexico, was charged with Operation
While Registration Suspended (registration suspended for
insurance lapse on 12/09/11), following a traffic stop
after a License Plate Reader targeted his vehicle as he
drove on SR 104 in the Town of New Haven. Mr. Forrest was
released on a ticket returnable to Town of New Haven Court
on 2/16/12.
On 1/24/12 at 7:09 a.m., Mary S. McClemons, 50, of
110 CR 51A, Oswego, was charged with Speed in Zone and
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license
suspended on 10/31/11 for failure to pay a fine in the
Village of Pulaski and on 1/04/12 for failure to answer a
summons in the Town of Hastings), following a traffic stop
on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba. Ms. McClemons was
issued tickets returnable to Town of Scriba Court on
2/09/12.
On 1/24/12 at 3:34 p.m., Kimberly A. Town, 25, of
2284 CR 37, West Monroe, was arrested for Endangering the
Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, and Harassment,
Second Degree, a violation, after she was accused of
grabbing the hood of a male victim and choking him with it
while he was holding a child. Ms. Town was issued an
appearance ticket returnable to Town of West Monroe Court
on 2/13/12.
On 1/26/12, Lucas L. Jacobson, 23, of 4596 SR 49,
Fulton, was operating a 2005 Bombedier snowmobile
southbound in a field approximately 100 feet east of Prior
Road in the Town of Schroeppel at 2:45 a.m. when he
reportedly hit a snow bank causing the machine to become
airborne crashing through a tree. The snowmobile
struck the ground and both driver and passenger were
ejected. Passenger, Thomas C. Kennedy, Jr., 25, was
transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in
Syracuse.
On 1/27/12 at 3:38 a.m., Seth R. Peterson, 22, of
184 West Stone Road, Mexico, was arrested for felony
Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Take a Breath Test,
Consuming an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle,
Crossed Hazardous Road Markings, and Unlawful Possession
of Marijuana, following a vehicle complaint that found Mr.
Peterson behind the wheel of his vehicle and under the
influence of alcohol, in a ditch, off West Stone Road.
Mr. Peterson was arraigned before Town of New Haven Court
and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in
lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bail bond. He is
scheduled to return to court on 2/02/12. The arrest was
made while the Deputy and Officer from the US Border
Patrol were working a detail under Operation Stone Garden. At
5:50 a.m., Mr. Peterson was further charged with
Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, after he
reportedly threatened a Deputy while at the Public Safety
Building during the arrest process for the DWI arrest. Mr.
Peterson was issued an appearance ticket returnable to
Oswego City Court on 2/16/12.
On 1/27/12, Andrew A. Smiley, 46, of 302 Hannibal
St., Fulton, was operating a 2002 Chevrolet northbound on
SR 48 in the Town of Granby at 6:57 a.m. when he lost
control 1/10 of a mile north of Wildwinds Drive. The
vehicle exited the west side of the roadway and struck a
driveway embankment, glanced off a parked, unattended,
2003 Ford suburban registered to William B. Smithers, 59,
of 983 SR 48, Fulton, NY, then struck a parked,
unattended, 2004 Chevrolet suburban registered to Mr.
Smithers before coming to rest on the west side of the
roadway. Both parked vehicles were facing west at
the time of the incident. Falling asleep and failed to
keep right appears to have been contributing factors in
the incident, deputies said. Mr. Smiley was ticketed for
Unregistered Motor Vehicle.
On 1/27/12 at 10:41 a.m., Robert T. Williams, 34,
of 65 Beech Road, Altmar, was arrested based on an arrest
warrant held by the Syracuse Police Department, charging
him with Failed to Register an Address Change, a violation
of the Sex Offender Registry under Corrections Law. Mr.
Williams was turned over to a member of the Syracuse
Police Department for further processing.
On 1/27/12 at 2:30 p.m., Rance O. Michaels, Sr.,
46, of 1816 US Rt. 11, Hastings, was charged with
Disorderly Conduct, a violation, stemming from an incident
that occurred during an interview at the Oswego County
Department of Social Services building in Mexico during
which he reportedly became upset and threatened to kill
the President of the United States. Mr. Michaels was
released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of
Mexico Court on 2/02712.
On 1/27/12 at 2:32 p.m., Sarah L. Jaczynski, 25, of
9292 Capron Road, Lee Center, NY, was arrested based on a
bench warrant issued by Town of Amboy Court for failing to
appear as ordered in the Town of Amboy Court on 11/15/11.
Ms. Jaczynski was arraigned before Town of Parish Court
and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in
lieu of $500 cash bail or $2,500 bail bond. She is
scheduled to appear before Town of Amboy Court on 2/14/12.
On 1/27/12 at 9:13 a.m., Alexander W. Evans, 34, of
95 Whitcomb Road, Fulton, was charged with Aggravated
Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended
twice on 9/02/2011 for failure to answer a summons in the
City of Fulton), and No/Inadequate Headlights, following a
traffic stop on SR 481 in the Town of Schroeppel after he
was observed with only one illuminated headlight while
driving northbound on SR 481 near Exit 14. Mr. Evans
was issued tickets and released to a third party. He
is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of
Schroeppel Court on 2/07/12.
On 1/27/12, Edith Linstruth, 60, of 101 Sauter Rd.,
Central Square, was operating a 2001 Mercury at 4:32 p.m.
when she reportedly backed out of a parking lot off
Cornell Road and struck a parked, unoccupied 2010 Hyundai
registered to Jill Martin, 50, of 7 Pershing Drive,
Fulton. The incident occurred approximately 200 feet east
of SR 3. Ms. Linstruth is reported to have left the
scene of the incident. Ms. Linstruth was issued a ticket
for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.
Unsafe backing appears to have been a contributing factor
in the incident, deputies said.
On 1/27/12, Brandie M. Hudson, 25, of 128 Cole Rd.,
Fulton, was operating a 1004 Ford pickup truck eastbound
on Cole Road in the Town of Granby at 4:44 p.m. when she
reportedly failed to yield to a southbound 2001 Chevrolet
pickup truck driven by Michael J. Donahue, 37, of
8287 Carnation Drive, Baldwinsville. The incident occurred
at the intersection of Cole Road and CR 8 where the
vehicles collided after Ms. Hudson reportedly pulled into
Mr. Donahue’s path. Both drivers were transported
by ambulance to Syracuse hospitals, Ms. Hudson to Crouse
Memorial Hospital and Mr. Donahue to St. Joseph’s
Hospital.
On 1/27/12, Ty
J. Sweeting, 18, of 285 W. 8th St., Oswego,
was operating a 2002 Chrysler northbound in the parking
lot of 7096 SR 104 located 100 feet north of SR 104 in the
Town of Oswego at 7:17 p.m. when he reportedly failed to
put the vehicle in park before exiting, causing it to roll
into a parked, unoccupied 2005 Chevrolet registered to
Jody G. Marchall, 56, of 900 Bowen Road, Elma, NY.
Mr. Sweeting was issued a ticket for Unattended
Vehicle/Engine Running.
