Police Blotter Report:
Krystin L. Holliday, 24, of 519 Clay St., Apt. 3,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:32 a.m.
Saturday on Public Square with driving while intoxicated,
third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.
Her blood alcohol content was 0.10 percent, police said. A
BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of
intoxication under state law. She is summoned to appear
Dec. 11 in City Court.
Donald K. Roberts, 51, of 715 State St., Watertown,
was charged by Watertown police at 2:41 a.m. Saturday at
323 Stone St., Apt. 1, with second-degree harassment and
criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. He
is accused of choking Patricia A. Chapman with with both
of his hands around her neck and bit her bottom lip and
face area during a domestic dispute at about 2:10 a.m.
Saturday in her apartment, police said. Mr. Roberts was
being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building
pending arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.
Carrie A. Shumaker, 37, of 625 Lansing St., Apt. 2,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:27 a.m.
Saturday at her residence with second-degree harassment.
She is accused of walking into Patrolman George A.
Cummings and shoved him with her left shoulder and arm at
about 1:26 a.m., according to court documents. She was
being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building
on $100 police bail pending arraignment Saturday morning
in City Court.
Leland G. Arnold, 48, of 206 Franklin St., Apt.
208, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:03
p.m. Friday at 377 W. Main St. with third-degree criminal
mischief, a felony, and disorderly conduct. He is accused
of attempting to engage in a fight with Andrew P. Miller
on the front porch of 377 W. Main St. at about 5:50 p.m.
Friday and intentionally hit the windshield of 1995
Chevrolet S-10 pickup trick belonging to Charles L.
Pickett, 371 W. Main St., causing a large chip valued at
$400 in damage, according to court documents. Mr. Arnold
was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety
Building on $500 police bail pending arraignment Saturday
morning in City Court.
Juan C. Benedict, 26, of 1014 State St., Apt. 4,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:45 p.m.
Friday at 1290 Arsenal St. with seventh-degree criminal
possession of a controlled substance and unlawful
possession of marijuana. Police allege he possessed two
Suboxone pills in his right jeans pocket and four small
baggies containing marijuana. He was turned over to the
Lewis County Sheriff's Department on a bench warrant. He
is summoned to appear Dec. 10 in City Court.
Earnest S. Washington Jr., 31, of 26052 Little Owl
Court, Evans Mills, was cited by Watertown police at 2:05
a.m. Saturday on Public Square with third-degree
aggravated unlicensed operation and driving the wrong way
on a one-way street. He was released to military custody
and summoned to appear Dec. 11 in City Court.
Desean R. Brown Jr., 40, of 301 N. Hamilton St.,
Watertown, was cited for operating a vehicle on a
suspended registration and making an improper turn at
about 3:53 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Central
Street. He is summoned to appear Dec. 11 in City
Court.
Peter A. Labarbera Jr., 50, of 24480 Route 12, Apt.
122, Watertown, was arrested by Watertown police at 4:02
p.m. Friday on a City Court bench warrant. He was being
held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending
arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.
