Deputies:
'Prostitute' Accused of Falsely Reporting Rape, Gun Chase

WATERTOWN, N.Y. — A
woman falsely reported Sunday evening she was raped and being chased by a man
with a gun at a motel in town of Watertown, according to the Jefferson County
Sheriff's Department.
Ashley I. Baker, 26, of 1734 Front St., Keeseville, N.Y., is charged
with third-degree falsely reporting an incident and prostitution.
Deputies allege she agreed to engage in sexual conduct with a man at Relax Inn,
19325 Route 11, Room 115, for $300 on Sunday afternoon and then made a false
report to 911.
She was arraigned before LeRay Town Justice George E. Meade III who sent her to
Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at $1,000 cash.

WATERTOWN, N.Y. — A
town of Watertown man is accused of patronizing a prostitute at a motel,
according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Kirk R. Guyette, 30, of 19325 Route 11, Relax Inn, Room 115, is charged
with third-degree patronizing a prostitute and unlawful possession of
marijuana.
According to court documents, Mr. Guyette agreed to pay a prostitute $300 in
return for sex at about 3 p.m. Sunday at his motel room.
Deputies said they found marijuana in a glass bowl in his room at 8 p.m. Sunday
when he was arrested.
He is summoned to appear Jan. 24 in town of Watertown Court.
