Port Leyden man accused of pushing officer at Jefferson County Family Court

WATERTOWN, NY — Matthew D. Cobb, 26, of 2533 Route 12, Port Leyden, was charged by Watertown police at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 163 Arsenal St. with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and third-degree criminal trespass.

He is accused of trespassing at the Jefferson County Court complex after being asked to leave and pushed NY State Court Officer Michael F. Delong, 37, after refusing to leave at about 11:43 a.m. Tuesday at Family Court, according to court documents.

Mr. Cobb is summoned to appear Nov. 1 in City Court.
