THERESA WRESTLER WINS TITLE
AT NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Heidi Amato, a 9-year-old Theresa native, won the 58-pound championship of the USGWA National Wrestling Championship Tournament in Lake Orion, Michigan held on April 1-2.

Amato won by major decision (8-0) over Wisconsin's Shania Sarbacker in the title bout of the Elementary Division.

A member of the Indian River Pee Wee Wrestling program, Amato was one of over 645 girls who competed in this tournament.
