Two Motorists Charged with Drunk Driving

The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

Aaron E. Tenney, 26, of 114 Franklin St., Apt. 405, Watertown, was charged by state police in the driveway of their barracks on Route 12 in the town of Alexandria. His blood alcohol content was 0.11 percent, troopers said.  State law sets 0.08 percent as the threshold for intoxication.  Troopers said Mr. Tenney pulled into the front parking lot and the front seat passenger honked the horn of the vehicle.  When questioned by police, Mr. Tenney allegedly said he was in the wrong place and intended to go to the Alexandria Bay Village Police Department.  He is to appear in Alexandria Town Court at a later date.

Aaron S. Whitmore, 23, of 1620 Huntington St., Apt. H-5, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:28 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Sterling Street.  His blood alcohol content was not provided in an arrest report.  He was additionally charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal.  He is to answer the charges in City Court at a later date.


Ga. Woman Extradited to Face Menacing Charge

WATERTOWN   A woman was placed in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on Friday after being extradited from Georgia on allegations that she displayed a baseball bat and threatened Jodi L. Hall, Arlington St., on Oct. 4 in the 600 block og Boyd Street.

Krista L. Broughton, 35, of Warners, Ga., is charged with second-degree menacing.  


   


City Man Facing Disorderly Conduct Charge

WATERTOWN   Jarrod C. Randall, 23, of 112 Katherine St., Apt. 806, was charged by city police at 2:14 a.m. Saturday with disorderly conduct.

Police said Mr. Randall was refused to leave the area in front of Mick's Place, 204 Factory St.  He was allegedly yelling at another male, they said.

He is to appear in City Court on June 11.


Deputies: Pair Used Pot in Front of 8-Month-Old

EVANS MILLS   A man and a woman were charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies after allegedly using marijuana in the presence of 8-month-old boy.

Rashard O. Jacks, 20, of 1206 Superior St., and Jennifer D. Silva, 22, of 26798 Shepard St., Evans Mills, were both charged at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child.  Deputies said they responded to a request by Ms. Sliva's sister-in-law in California to check the welfare of the 8-month-old boy.

They are to answer the charges in LeRay Town Court on June 4.
