State police: Man caught driving lawn mower in Oneida County with 0.37 percent BAC

CAMDEN, NY — On August 2, 2018, State Police responded to the area of Preston Hill Road in the town of Camden regarding erratic operation of a lawn mower in the roadway.

When Troopers arrived, they located a lawn mower and interviewed its operator, Daniel L. Felker, age 50 of Camden NY.  An investigation into the sobriety of Felker led to his arrest for DWI.  Felker submitted to a breath test which determined his blood alcohol content to be 0.37%, over four times the legal limit.

Felker was charged with Aggravated DWI (misdemeanor) and numerous other vehicle and traffic violations.

Felker is scheduled to appear 7 p.m. Aug. 27 in Camden Town Court.

State Police were assisted at the scene by New York State ENCON Police and Camden Police Department.
